do you have any advice for someone who also wants to make stories? Any advice is appreciated.

hi bestie!

having your own recognizable style will help you 2x in the long run. so hone your style! i know some say imitation is a good way to get started but honestly you're also learning that persons mistakes as well. because no one is perfect and we all have weaknesses.

i think i would say that the longer you can create without the need of an audience, the better. growing slowly will do you better than virality. challenge yourself to improve something with each post. have a LOTTT of inspirations and different references.

about posting consistently on yt: consistently doesnt mean often or weekly. consistency means consistent. if thats only once a month, so be it as long as your audience knows to expect something from you then.

hold your personal opinion of your work above all, then trusted friends/family, and then MAYBE people that are where you want to be. but yours above all.

great storytellers can grip an audience, but AMAZING storytellers make vulnerable art. just be genuine in your work and create for you and people will come. if you create from the heart, hearing people connect with your characters will be all the more fulfilling.
