Hello, Friend!
Hello, friend!
This ask is in regards to my ask event I'm running today that you reblogged. My questions are to Lakrim.
Lakrim, do you like video games or whatever similar thing your world may have? If so, which one is your favorite?
Are you more interested in the sky or the ocean?
What is your ideal vacation?
What do you think is the most cuddle-able animal in the world?
If you could have any animal as a companion, danger isn't even an issue anymore, what animal would you pick and why?
Thanks for participating! :)
(I'm separating answers so it looks less like word vomit. Thank you for the ask)
Lakrim: "Best we have in this world is board games and they are eeeeh, boring. Getting my hands on sacred books are more entertaining." His face splits into a mischievous grin before he continues.
"The sky or ocean?hmmmm. I've never had to pick before but definitely the ocean. It's calming and when the moonlight hits the water it's glorious. And since you asked about my ideal vacation, I'd say somewhere near the ocean."
"unpopular opinion~ but the most cuddle-able animal is a snake....if you try hard enough.... A snake would also be my animal companion of choice. Specifically a King Cobra- for the flare."

Is your story a metaphor for anything?
I was enamoured by "tropes" in storytelling when I was 13 but I got over it by my late teens because I'm able to analyse narratives as their own entity and through more complex lenses as ppposed to pointing at something and blurting out "enemies to lovers" and patting myself on the back for it because I recognised an incredibly basic character dynamic and refused to think further about what function the character dynamic serves the narrative. And yes my nuts are huge I'm smarter than you and if you took this personally it's your problem :)
Pain pain pain.
I thought I had adjusted to drawing Alicon but look at meeeee. Suddenly I can't draw his hair after going through all that trouble to have a method to drawing it for weeks
what they don’t tell you about being an artist is that sometimes you will sit down and suddenly know how to draw something that youve never gotten right before
i love a good metaphor for guilt i love blood i love daggers i love betrayal i love characters kneeling holding a sword aimed downwards i love people literally and metaphorically covered in blood and crying i love characters being stabbed in the back i love characters obsessively trying to cleanse themself of guilt but it just. doesn't. work! i love guilt complexes i love guilt so overwhelming that it literally affects your perception of reality i love martyrs and i love traitors and i fucking LOVE guilt
i'm not fighting the narrative, i'm seducing it. but good luck with that i guess.
