"You’re gonna die here, you know"

how long had it been since he was last captured by the first order ? poe grunted as he laid his head back against the metal slab , his eyes hurt , his head pounded , and his ankles and wrists ached . it felt cold in the room , even with his ruined jacket on him , he could feel the shivers running up and down his spine . first order ships were usually colder and much more silent than the rebellion’s . disoriented and in pain , the pilot turned to the voice that seemed to echo for eons in the room , probably because of his headache . . or maybe it really w a s just the echo . who knew at this point . but all poe knew , was who the voice belonged to –– and if you looked closely , you’d see him shiver in slight terror –– so as he turned his head to the side , to see the tall hooded figure standing not too far away from him , poe tried to even out his breathing , tried n o t to listen to him , and tried to be the brave poe everyone thought he was . 

“ yeah , well whats new ? “ 

the last thing the pilot had remembered moments before his capture was flying over to one of the abandoned rebel bases in hopes to find another sanctuary for the remaining rebels , or find supplies , fire power , and ships ; and just when he was about to make his jump into hyperspace , the first order got to his first . TIE fighters surrounded him , bb-8 tried their best to repair the damage on one of the thrusters , but even poe’s pilot skills could take him so far in an out numbered space fight . 

with his eyes struggling to open , poe’s blurred vision slowly began to clear and his headache , turned into a lulling pain ; tolerable so long as he didn’t move it too much . seeing kylo ren stand there , poe tried his best not to be . . intimidated . but with their last encounter nearly killing him , poe a c t u a l l y believed he’d die here . he is a rebel ; and rebels where known to die tragically at a young age .
