I'm sorry for the confusion! Firstly you can get high quality Eggdog plushies at eggdog.shop which is run by Zamsire! And I just wanted to clarify I meant the old fans who hate basically any change in modern SMG4. Like the redesigns or arcs, some older SMG4 fans like to say that modern SMG4 sucks and that he "fell off". Most of these OG fans crap on the changes Luke has made throughout SMG4 and want things to go back to how they were before. Due to this Luke has been doing remakes of old videos to please those fans while also doing things how he likes it. I think that because of the toxic "fans" it would make him less likely to make that big change in making 3 and 4 canon, because it risks even more backlash and potentially risking a lot of (probably homophobic) fans leaving the community.

I see what you mean though! I mean Snowtrapped is a classic episode, however it was taken as more of a joke back then. You see 3 and 4's relationship has progressed so much that it's not really viewed as a joke anymore (except 3's tsundere act). The romantic moments that they share can be comedic at times but can also be emotional and impactful on the viewers. This is the difference between old SMG34 and modern SMG34, something that some of the og fans can't handle.

Okay I know i'm a bit late but I really want to talk about THIS

Now a lot of people have been saying it's 3, which for a lot of the fanbase would be the best case scenario. Now while I do know Luke LOVES to troll us on SMG34 and basically dangle it right in all of our faces, I'm going to look at this on a hopeful SMG34 perspective.

So we all know it's Pride Month, meaning this would be the BEST time to let 3 and 4 have their little gay moments.

I've seen a lot of people mention the Mickey Mouse monstrosity, but I also think the bomb should be noted.

The significance of the gift becomes exemplified when you realize 3 wanted Boopkins to rizz someone up with it. This means 3 sees it as a romantic item, something to potentially give to a loved one. The bomb 4 has in his suitcase also matches the ones on top of 3's cafe, meaning 4 probably got the bombs from YOU KNOW WHO.

So what does this all mean?

What I like to think is that SMG34 is already canon, except it isn't directly stated to the viewer's. I think 3 and 4 are going to show signs of romance, and if you put the pieces together you can code it's for each other. I think 3 confessed to 4 since it's Pride Month and gave him the Mickey Mouse statue plus some bombs because that's what 3 loves, and 4 accepted his confession. But I don't think we'll ever see this really happen, we won't see them kiss or anything but there will be moments throughout the month that can be seen as romantic coming from those two.

If my theory is right then for future episodes we'll be given hints regarding their relationship yet it won't ever be specifically stated. That is of course unless Luke decides to grow some balls and make it officially canon/j (Srry Luke ily)

Honestly I think the main reason why it hasn't become canon already is because of backlash from the community, especially now that OG SMG4 "fans" keep shitting on his content instead of minding their own business.

By making SMG3 and SMG4 have romantic moments/tension yet never be confirmed gay for each other, Luke is essentially making both sides "happy", wanting to please everyone because that's just how he is.

Sorry I got sidetracked! Honestly I understand if you didn't want to read all that, but if you did, kudos to you! I just kinda wanted to talk about this because it's been on my mind for awhile.

I wonder how everyone else would feel about this. I mean he is the reason why they lost the castle and almost 3 and 4, plus he literally traumatized Meggy and probably the rest of the crew. But at the same time SMG3 has also done or tried to do some fucked up things and he's still friends with them now.

This is highly unlikely but I just thought of this and decided that I needed to dump this out.

What if SMG3 was under the assumption that he and SMG4 were already dating? I know this is probably stupid but hear me out. It would totally explain why he's always blushing around him and calls him "baka". I feel like SMG3 is aware of what it means and implies (being used as a term by Tsunderes to insult their love interest...I think) because he specifically ONLY calls SMG4 that, nobody else. Cuz that's his bf's special nickname for him. And what if SMG3 said "I'm not your friend!" at the end of IGBP because he was internally thinking "Yeah no I'm your boyfriend you idiot". It would also do a good job at explaining why he's so close to specifically SMG4, he's always coming inside SMG4's place asking for favors without even batting an eye. Basically anytime we see him around anyone it's usually because of SMG4, cuz SMG3 would obviously want to spend time with his boyfriend.

But would SMG4 know about this? Absolutely not! In his mind they're just friends while SMG3 is waiting patiently for SMG4 to make the first move. I can just imagine how hilarious it would be if SMG3 made hints directed at their "relationship" and have SMG4 get the biggest look of realization and pure shock plus horror on his face 💀

SMG3: "So...how are you enjoying this date? " SMG3 would ask him while they're at the park

And of course SMG4 doesn't know what the fuck is going on cuz SMG3 didn't even say it was a date, he just expected SMG4 to know when he invited them out because of their "relationship". So of course SMG4 naturally goes:

SMG4: "THIS WAS A DATE?!"

SMG3: "Yeah we've been dating for so long, I thought it was about time to finally go on a date without your dumb friends"

SMG4: "DATING!?!?!?"

I know this whole thing was ridiculous and definitely not canon, but I just thought it would be a funny and sweet idea for a fanfic or something. So if anybody wants to write something based on my idea, feel free to do so, I'd love to read it!

So now that I've finished my SMG34 story (Unexpected Changes), a book where SMG3 is turned into a girl and seeks out SMG4's help to turn back to normal, I've really got nothing else to write...

I'm trying to expand my writing and I honestly find it pretty fun so let me know if you have any ideas or anything else for me! I'm mainly looking to write SMG34 centric fanfics because I am really interested in their dynamic and I love writing them!

SMG3's sexuality, something that everyone other than the homophobes will definitely tell you is not heterosexual. We all know 3 isn't straight, especially now with the Sugar Daddy song that still keeps me up at night-

A lot of people agree that SMG3 is pansexual, this is because of his voice actors headcannons. SMG3 is voiced by James Bailey, someone who admitted he imagined 3 to be pansexual, just like him.

So...is it obvious 3 is pansexual?

Well...not really...

When someone is pansexual it means they can potentially experience attraction to anyone regardless of gender. And while we have seen 3 show attraction towards male figures, the same can't be said for females

(Some examples of 3 showing interest in men)

You can argue that he rizzed up that female Ugandan Knuckles in the rizz video. But something you'll notice is that 3 uses typically considered as male compliments to describe the knuckles genderbent

I realize it's a voice clip taken from Markiplier (I think) but I thought it was worth noting.

Personally I believe that 3 could be pansexual BUT prefers men, or alternatively he could just be gay-

And it's important to remember just because the VC headcannons something, it doesn't make it an actual canon thing in the show. Personally I imagine 3 being gay, and I think that's fine because it technically doesn't go against his character.

I'm mainly making this post because there's a common misconception where people think 3 is canonically pansexual and that's his confirmed sexuality, which isn't true. It's clear that 3 likes men but we won't know what his sexuality 100% is until we get some clear verification.

It's good for everyone to share their own ideas on what they think 3's romantic and sexual preferences are (unless it goes against his character but I won't be all bitchy about it) so for whoever stuck around long enough to read this, please tell me.
