honestly autistic people usually face a lot of ableism around sex. people infantalize us to a point they think we cant consent or dont want sex or dont understand it.

I saw a sweet post about cats and now I wanna make ones about crows EEEE

- yes they do love being fed, but they don’t JUST like you for your food

- if they rattle call around you, they trust you!!! If they rattle call AT you they consider you family— it’s the crow’s way of saying I love you 🥹

- they generally like their personal space! If you feed them for the first time, try to toss it near, but not at them! Keep your distance and don’t look in their general direction when you throw food 🥺

- if they’re not socialized, they might be skittish around you, so you might need to turn away or walk a very far distance for them to try the food you left at first

- um. If they dive bomb you— fly over you and brush your head— you’re too close to their nest ;w; they might tell the others you’re a threat, so… if you wanna befriend them after that, give a peace offering of a high reward food, like grapes or something rich in protein, like eggs! Or meat. They’ll love you forever <3 you might need to follow them at a distance and get some distance between you and the food, but they’ll remember your kindness

- if they are socialized, talk to them!!! They like listening. I like imitating their rattle call sounds bc then they’ll imitate my imitations GSBDBSNSN 🥹 if you come up (a few feet away) and get level with them, cooing and calling them pretty, they’ll tilt their little bird heads to listen and it’s the CUTEST sight EVER!

- don’t be afraid to go to them when you’re sad,, like. Literally. They look out for you in your darkest moments 🥺. They’ll sit by you and keep you company until you’ve finishing crying if that’s what you need. Crows kept me from dropping all my things and running away before by circling me and cawing 😭

- they’re mischief makers! They’ll steal from each other and if they’re comfy with you, and you’re away from your things, they’ll think what’s yours is theirs. It’s actually really funny— I never thought I’d experience a bird climbing up on my school binder before and knocking over my water for a drink 🤣

- they’re also mischievous with other animals! They’ll literally pull lion’s tails in enclosures just to get a rise out of them,, haha. Around here, they tail the seagulls just to make them mad 🤣

- they recognize faces AND voices!! And if you have an established call, they’ll flock to you when they hear you 🥹 They fly over to me whenever I start singing or whistling and it’s the best. It’s just. The best ever GDBSBDNSNDND 🤧💕💕💕
