I don't think it's fair to call either one "more surprising" than the other. they'd be surprising events for completely separate reasons and it doesn't make sense to directly compare them

another finnish transfem here; marraskuu basically means mortal (omen) moon (from the same indo-european root as mortal/mori even) sadly finnish name laws prevented me from legally changin mine to marras (was tentatively on the list) as callin oneself an omen of death is apparently against social cohesion or some shit (go figure)
