I've heard ppl say "oh I don't take astrology seriously it's just for fun!" and then do insane shit like not take their their meds on certain days bc a planet is in a bad area in space or smth like are you sure it's not that serious

i will be honest i think new dune tried too hard for normie mass appeal and took all the flavor out. the aesthetics are not insane enough and neither are the characters. stop trying to make any of these people “relatable” they are operating on ideologies that are nigh incomprehensible to anyone who isn’t addled by thousands of years of space feudalism and selective breeding and worm cocaine use
