like with other genres it's vague enough that i can picture myself/OCs/etc in a variety of scenarios and different places but with country. its the same spot every time and its starting to get crowded on that little dirt road
i think the reason why my brain can't really get funky with country music is that it is often too descriptive. like don't get me wrong i love country roading taking me homing as much as the next guy. but when mr. cowboy hat tells me he's driving down a very specific road in texas in a red ford f-150 that has a dent on the left side i'm just like. well now i can't think of anything else. like anything else. and i hate that.
