I hate how patriarchy has even ruined Hindu mythology so specifically to benefit the men.The casual jokes on family WhatsApp groups about how Mahabharat and Ramayan, the worst wars of all time, were fought because of a woman and how women bring ruin everywhere they go,as if they are the root cause of all suffering. Where in fact the women were LITERALLY the victims, one was publicly humiliated, the other kidnapped.The men have misinterpreted the stories so badly that it physically pains me, god went to war not because of women, they went to war FOR them.Because what happened to the women was WRONG,they weren’t to blame, the ones who wronged them were.

I also see a major polarisation in how a huge section of Hindus treat Sita and Draupadi, and it reminds me of the quote “a woman has to do everything right for her to be a victim and a man has to do everything wrong for him to be a culprit.”It breaks my heart at the number of times I’ve heard men say “well Draupadi shouldn’t have disrespected him,aise toh hona hi tha na fir”,first and foremost,that’s an inaccurate narrative promoted by wrong retellings who need to constantly find a reason to blame the victim,she did no such thing and you can find pretty much evidence for it everywhere.But even if she had, it does NOT make it okay for them to publicly disrobe her.This is one more example of the victim blaming culture that I see deep ingrained in the minds of so many of these dumbfuck Hindus who have absolutely no respect for their culture.So next time don’t go to ram mandirs and krishna mandirs if you can’t even truly understand and respect the relevance behind their existence.

I have been binge loving this ship and ever since the last fic of them, I’ve wanted to write more so enjoy! Also its 1am so heres to shitty night writing! (I know i should have upload sooner to count for yesterdays so another fic will be today too.)

Bakugou watched with a blank expression on his face as his girlfriend dropped in the bath bomb. Between them, the bomb fizzed and let the colors of blue and purple taint the water and swirl around as bubbles formed. She had a slight bounce to her as her eyes fixated on the magical orb spinning around and even he began entertained with the fizzing noise, he was just glad it didn’t contain any glitter. 

The bomb settled and she leaned back, resting her head on the makeshift pillow she made from a towel. He copied on the other side. Together they sat, the warm water setting steam float up and she knew when he sat in that the temperature had risen a few degrees due to his powerful quirk. 

She was a little shocked that he agreed to join her in the bath. He was used to walking in and seeing her enjoyed the frothy water as he brushed his teeth but never did he ever join. But after a tempting plead and a promise of table top shenanigans, she ushered him in. To his surprise, he actually enjoyed the hot water, not to mention the view of his naked girlfriend, the one covered mostly with bubbles. 

His eyes were closed and he was relaxing on the silence, but her devilish side wanted to play and his eyes opened and glared when she tossed water on to her face using her foot. He blink as the blue and violet bubbles fell off his face, Uraraka tried to contain her giggles but her laugh had escaped. 

Instead of yelling out a cuss, he smirked and grabbed her ankle, pulling her into the water towards him, a gasp left her as she slightly dunked under and arisen just as fast. A mixture of aqua and purple bubbles now soaked her face and hair, her bangs clasped over her eyes and she pushed them away with a huff. 

He let out his own laugh and bucked up his knees so she was practically sitting on him. her arms crossed in front of her chest and a pout sprung to her face, the water swishing against the tub fiercely. 

“Hey don’t get mad, you’re the one who started it.” He said and she tried to keep the mad look on her face, but the way his thumbs made circles on her hips didn’t help her.

The moment they got home, the door was slammed. Irritation filled the air and Bakugou was ready to explode. His anger was directed at his girlfriend, specifically her actions. 

As they were saving citizens from another attack, a massive blast was headed towards Bakugou, however Ochaco quickly jumped in front, taking damage to protect not only her partner but her boyfriend. 

“What the fuck was THAT!” Bakugou yelled. Ochaco simply rolled her eyes and walked to the kitchen not giving her angry boyfriend a glance. 

“Um its called doing my job.” She shot back. The fridge door opened and she took one of the cold bottles and held it against her right arm before taking a sip.

“Doing your job?” He huffed and followed her while taking the water bottle from her hands.

“Hey I-“

“Ochaco you could have gotten seriously hurt!” He slammed the bottle down. 

Another eye roll came from her, a dangerous trait she learn from her explosive boyfriend and her head laid in her hand.

“Katsuki, I had to save those people, if I get a hurt then that’s part of our duty. It’s not a big deal.” She took her bottle back and blew her bangs up. “It’s not even that bad, you’re overreacting.”

“OVERREACTING?” He ran his hand through his hair and pointed at her arm that had a small bruise. “You took a massive blow, you should have jumped out of the way.”

“Then it would of hit you!”

“I can take it!”

She turned and put her hand on her hip, her soft brown eyes widened and held a deadly glare.

“Oh and I can’t?” She spat. 

“That’s not-“

“No Bakugou. That’s exactly what you’re saying. You don’t think I’m strong enough huh?” He could sense the hurt in her voice. 

“Now don’t go putting words into my mouth babe.” 

“I don’t understand sometimes. I am a fucking grown ass woman. I can take care of my self and I don’t need my boyfriend telling me how not to do my job.” She pushed past him, aggravation coursed through her and she could feel tears swelling up. 

He grumbled and chased after her, he wouldn’t let himself be the reason she cried. “Ochaco come on!” His feet picked up the pace and he held out his hand, wrapping it softly around her wrist stopping them both. She was hesitant and didn’t turn around knowing that when she did, he’d see the tears. 

“I know you are a grown ass woman, and a fucking bad ass too.” His voice was soft, a tone only she has heard. “ I-I just couldn’t live with myself if you got hurt because you wanted to protect me.”
