After losing his dad, splinter, and his brother, Rapheal; he tries his best to keep up appearances and remain strong for his twin brother, Leonardo, and his younger brother,Mikey. While Leo might be the leader of the resistance, Donnie is the brains. Donatello is the only thing keeping most of the bases defenses functional and creating effective weapons against the krang. He’s invaluable to the resistance and he sometimes uses that to get his way as he knows he’s the one keeping everything running. He blames himself for the death of his oldest brother, Raph, if he was just a little more careful, just a little bit faster, then maybe, maybe Raph would still be here instead of six feet under with a hole through his chest because he was shielding him. Now he tries to protect the few people he has left even if he very rarely leaves base anymore. He still sometimes partakes in creating a bit of chaos just to keep his little brothers spirits up. He lost his left leg up to the knee which was then replaced by a mechanical replacement.)
