Ideas I’ve had (because I have an Eliksni tattoo artist OC too and I love seeing others’ take on the concept)-

Not just tattoos, but henna-like body paint as well. Sometimes it glows in the dark

Lots of plant elements in large tattoos?- Riis water flowers, baryon boughs, ether spirals, Europa starwort, etc

Carvings in larger chitin plates that are filled with colorful resin and possibly LEDs

Piercings made of glimmer that can be reprogrammed and reshaped on the fly (maybe even using a neural link since the Eliksni are very talented with tech like that)

Ceremonial piercings on the upper chest chitin, like badges of honor. Small tokens that represent things that are important to the individual

There’s definitely more but I’m sleep deprived and can’t remember much lmao (feel free to add ::D)

i’ve always thought kovhraa should specialise in body modification so if i start drawing eliksni with piercings and prosthetics that arent the traditional steel arms and shit like that then you know where they lead back to
