Being a Kamen Rider is: you live with your choices, and maybe you suffer for them. Usually you find some friends along the way.
It’s: you save the World, or the Worlds, at a cost, be it to yourself or to loved ones. You fight because people need you.
You die for it. You live for it. You change for it.
Being a Kamen Rider is: you believe in your heart that humanity is good. You believe with everything in you that the future is bright.
Being a Kamen Rider is about hope, and it’s about despair, and most of all, it is about undying love.
Why do you put on the belt? Why does she? Why does he? Why do they, plural and singular, because anyone can choose, and sometimes being a Rider is no solo endeavor, and does it matter?
Being a Kamen Rider is like the line between a fall and a rise, the best and the worst of the World, the Worlds.
Being a Kamen Rider is about smiles, and laughter. Protecting it and taking it back for yourself in the knowledge that you are making a difference. Bring it out in others, learn to smile again.
Learn to grow.
Being a Kamen Rider is about growing. About bringing out what’s already in one’s heart. Because there is good in there, hopefully.
Sometimes, being a Kamen Rider is staining the legacy, blending the line between monsters and heroes even further, when villains, some even with the best of intentions, use that same name.
Kamen Rider.
It’s about denying destiny. Because destiny will cast you as the villain, or the tragic hero, or perhaps both. But in turn, as always, it is about choice. Choosing for yourself, to fight, and why.
Maybe you chose whether to fight or to cower. Maybe you had no choice. Maybe you chose to change or to stay as you are.
…And again, maybe you had no choice.
There’s always that possibility.
(Maybe you chose evil, chose to become the blurred line… maybe you had no choice.)
But there’s always a choice in it, somewhere.
What will you choose?
There’s no thanks, in this. You will suffer. You will blur the line yourself, no matter what pinnacle you create or reach. And if you do?
Being a Kamen Rider means realizing power only leaves you lonely…
Loneliness is a part of it, the inevitability of otherhood, and that is the center of it, isn’t it? The Cross of Fire is yours to bear. And it will leave you lonely. It will make you resent your fate, perhaps. It will remind you of your sins.
Being a Kamen Rider is lonely… but.
But it also can bring you to friends, perhaps to family.
Being a Kamen Rider is about friendship, too. It’s about the ones who are there, when it’s too much. The ones who celebrate your greatest victories and carry you through your most crushing defeats. The ones who fight with you.
The ones who betray you. The ones who kill you and the ones you kill.
The ones you lose.
There’s always another side, isn’t there, but isn’t that the beauty?
Because for every darkness, there is another candle, holding the light.
It’s hard, it’s ugly and brutal, so cry, so rage, so scream, Kamen Rider. Feel it, because this is a part of you.
But… get up. Hold onto your heart. Pull your smile and your love and your hope back together and turn that into your passion…
And now, listen.
Kamen Rider!
Do you hear it, Kamen Rider? Do you hear them calling your name?
Being a Kamen Rider is this, this culmination of legacy. It is the cross of fire, the evil in your blood. It’s fifty lights, no more, and more every time you blink, against the flame. It is a million double sided coins.
It is you, Kamen Rider.
Kamen Rider!
…remember what was said about choice?
So...I got hyped by the possible Silent Hill announcement

If you don't use the real words in your tags? People won't be able to filter those out and stay SAFE.
You need to tag properly to keep everyone safe.
Don't water down warnings just because social media has trained you to water them down.
