Oh, this is hard. With over 500 WIPs, how can I choose?

Fuck - Coup de Grâce, my political timetravel WIP. There's just so much research I need to do, and I'm not sure how good I really am at the political stuff, so... This is going to take forever. Marry - My obsessions keep jumping around, but I do have a series of WIPs for LotR that is basically a time-loop with the same chars going through the same story in completely different ways, and... Yeah, maybe that one counts? Or the Naruto/Skyrim crossover? Or the MadaTobi BDSM fic? Or... Yeah, no, there's just too many to choose between. Sorry. Kill - Ugh, the OC isekaied as Zetsu fic. The idea was fun when I started, but... I just can't figure out where to go with it. It's stuck. Like a fly on glue-paper. Fluttering uselessly. Out of all my WIPs, that's the one I'm least likely to finish I think. Since I'm sure I'm late to the party, and all my writer friends probably have already gotten it, I'm not going to pass the torch, but anyone seeing this who feel compelled are free to grab it and run with it.

liking a fictional villain is in no way comparable to advocating abuse/murder/genocide/etc and you’re a fucking idiot if you believe that

just because a woman is attracted to a fictional villain doesn’t mean she’s promoting toxic relationships or going to end up in a toxic relationship. assuming women can’t tell fiction and reality apart stinks of internalized misogyny 

some rando’s a/b/o fanfics have none of the level of influence that popular tv shows and movies spreading propaganda have

no one owes you a detailed description of their traumas and mental health problems

abusive relationships are not the same as enemies to lovers ships

y’all need to chill the fuck out over people, relationships, actions and events that don’t actually exist and learn how to enjoy and discuss them like normal people

Tobirama's hair was still damp.

Short locks, darkened by water, raked backwards out of his face; his cheekbones looked almost as sharp as his eyes. The wire mesh and the sleeveless gi were back on, only missing a happuri.

Tension in his limbs, poised, ready to fly.

"So we agree that this is more of that divisive sabotage idiocy," Madara said slowly, watching him, watching the eyes he'd seen hazy with reluctant pleasure and the pristine skin that should have worn his bruises. It burned at the back of his brain, being unable to smell himself on the omega anymore, being unable to smell him. No scents, no marks, no proof, and for a brief, endless moment Madara saw himself walking up to the man and catching a fistful of his hair to pull sideways and digging his teeth right there, in the tendon of his exposed throat. Leaving -- a bruise.

But Senju Tobirama did not belong to him.

There’s such recency bias in fandom. As an author you post something, get a few reactions, and then it goes off into the bin. As a reader you check the tags, see what’s new, and move on. But a lot of old stuff is really good. It’s just sitting there, gathering dust, waiting for someone to take a peek.
