You waited in the tunnel to walk onto the pitch you knew like the back of your hand, the sounds of fans flooding Stamford Bridge’s atmosphere. Your pacing alerted Christian beside you, who winked at you and gave you that little boost to reveal to the fans, the most recent change in your life.

Mason walked beside you, putting his arm around your shoulder and pulling your head to his lips; whispering “Let’s show them.” He slipped behind you and urged you to walk out, following Azpi and Kepa, noticing the spaniards turning around to you with a smirk on their lips.

The noise of The Liquidator bounded across the stadium, fans chanting and clapping to the anthem. Chelsea strode forward onto the freshly cut green grass, hoping for a win.

You heard the noise of a few fans clapping and gasping among seeing the change to you, specifically, Chelsea kit. Not the number change. Not the style of the kit. But the name you sported on your back.

The commentators paused on mentioning the starting XI and piped up at the back of your clubs shirt. “Wait. No way?” “Hold— show Mason’s shirt!” “Oh my days!”

The cameras panned to the back of you and Mason, zooming in on the removal of your last name, now changed to your first initial then MOUNT. Mason now sporting a M. MOUNT.

Audiences clocked onto the name change, gasping at the realisation that they weren’t even aware the star players were in a relationship, let alone married. Surprise! I guess?

Erling is massively taller than you and it’s so obvious. He easily towers over you, with you barely reaching his shoulder, even when wearing high-heels.

Hand difference is massive. His hand always envelops yours so easily, his is so big that you almost feel like a child holding a parent. But Erling loves it, always mocking you about it. 

By now, he’s used to being taller than most people, but it always surprises him how much taller he is than you. His shirts look like freaking dresses on you and he adores taking pictures of you like that, especially when you’re drowning in his Manchester City jersey. 

Play-fight is fun cause he always lets you win, being the big softie he is with you. You also jog together, Erling’s one step being equal to 3 hurried steps from you and you constantly have to remind him to slow down.

Hugs and cuddles are the absolute best. He’s always the big spoon with you nestled in his large chest, his big arms surrounding you and making you feel so safe. 

That’s something you love about him: his size gives you a sense of safety, he’s so big and strong that no one would dare to try anything with you when your huge boyfriend is around, not to mention his protective nature. I mean, who wouldn’t be scared of a huge giant Norwegian man? 

But the height difference also has its downsides: it’s complicated to kiss each other when you’re both standing, as the gap between you is so big that Erling has to bend a lot just to reach your face.

Your neck is tired of looking up all the time and it’s so easy for Erling to lose you in crowded areas, if he’s not holding your hand tight enough. 

Erling always pays double the attention so he never accidentally hurts you with his strength. That’s the last thing he’d want to do but it doesn’t mean accidents never happen. But he always makes up for it, helping you until you feel better.
