My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand, To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss.” Stiles spoke smoothly, trying to get a kiss from the lovely Y/N. He brought one of her hands up, placing a small kiss on her hand, causing Y/N Cauplet to blush. 

“Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hand too much, Which mannerly devotion shows in this; For saints have hands that pilgrims’ hands do touch, And palm to palm is holy palmers’ kiss.” Y/N said, putting her palm to his. They swayed palm to palm in the corner of the ball room, Y/N afraid to get caught by her mother for not dancing with Theo. 

“Have not saints lips, and holy palmers too?” Stiles asked, teasing the young maiden.  

“Ay, pilgrim, lips that they must use in prayer.” Y/N informed. She could feel herself giving in, wanting to feel the mans lips upon her own. 

“O, then, dear saint, let lips do what hands do;They pray, grant thou, lest faith turn to despair.” 

Stiles was captivated by the maiden, her beauty made him forget about Lydia, “O, she doth teach the torches to burn bright! It seems she hangs upon the cheek of night. Like a rich jewel in an Ethiope’s ear; Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear! So shows a snowy dove trooping with crows, As yonder lady o'er her fellows shows. The measure done, I’ll watch her place of stand, And, touching hers, make blessed my rude hand. Did my heart love till now? forswear it, sight! For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night.” The boy told his friend Scott when he first saw her. 

“Saints do not move, though grant for prayers’ sake.” Y/n told him. 

“Then move not, while my prayer’s effect I take. Thus from my lips, by yours, my sin is purged.”

“Then have my lips the sin that they have took.” Y/n spoke, allowing the boy to finally kiss her. 

The kiss was simple, nothing daring just cute. Y/n adored the kiss. She loved how the feeling of his soft pink lips on hers was like a kiss from the heavens. Stiles lost himself in the kiss. He knew that his heart was telling the truth about how in love he was with Y/N.
