Y/N'S POV

Your friend recently applied for you to go in a YouTube video. You knew that the video was going to be a Tinder video and it's going to be made by the Sidemen.

You obviously know who the Sidemen are. They're the UK's biggest YouTubers. But, the whole situation is a bit nerve-racking.

Your friend wanted you to do a Tinder video with them because she said 'it's about time you go out and meet boys!' Which is a bit annoying because you enjoyed being single. You weren't really good with relationships and haven't been in one since a few years ago. Your friend was kind of right, you did need to get out and meet a few people.

You picked out an outfit that was casual because you didn't really want to 'dress to impress'. It was just a dark brown sweater with black, ripped jeans. You also wore a thick belt around your jeans and tucked in bits of your sweater. You left your hair out in waves but kept a black scrunchie on your wrist just in case it gets windy.

You were the last girl waiting in line. The girl before you was speaking to the boys about why she swiped them to the left side. You knew what most of the Sidemen looked like but, to be honest, the last time you saw a picture of them was before lockdown. It's not like you'd watch them on a daily basis.

You heard footsteps coming down and saw the girl from before. She smiled at you and you returned it. As she left, a man came up to you, checking if your mic was secure.

"Okay, so just introduce yourself and say where you're from and listen to their lines. Not much to do," the guy shrugs and you nod. "Got it?"

"Yep!" you reply and he smiles.

"Alright! You can go up now." He walks away and you take a deep breath.

"Here goes nothing," you mumble.

HARRY'S POV

As I put my phone away, the next woman comes up the stairs leaving me speechless.

She was pretty, like the other girls of course, but there's something about her that makes her stand out from the other women. She was wearing a casual outfit - a dark brown sweater with black jeans. It was so simple, yet it made her look... gorgeous. Her hair was in waves and they were tucked behind her ears. I couldn't tell if she was wearing makeup or not, but her face looked natural so I'm guessing she wasn't.

She's...

Perfect.

"Holy shit," I mumble, forgetting everyone else in the room.

"Find someone you like bog?" JJ smirks as I look towards him. I shrug but answer him anyway.

"Maybe..."

Harry P was the first to greet her, making me a tiny bit jealous. "Hello, hello, hello."

"Hello, hello, hello!" she smiles at him, looking like a fucking angel.

Them Filly was the next to speak. "Rah, this is- this is health and wealth!" She giggles at that and I feel something twitch on my abdomen.

You haven't even spoken to her for fuck's sake.

"Ima actually take you seriously," Chunkz flirts as I roll my eyes.

She looks at the camera to the side and introduces herself. "Hi, I'm Y/N Y/L/N, I'm 24 and I'm from Y/H/T!" She smiles at all of us. Her voice was literally music to my ears.

"I don't think I can do this," I mutter to JJ and he chuckles.

"She seems nice, just be yourself, my g." I huff and watch Harry speak.

"Wait, no I'm 23! My birthday's in a few months so like— just carry on," she stutters, doing hand gestures to Harry. He chuckles while Filly says something to him.

"You look shy," he says, making Harry turn around.

"Your breath stinks," he retorts as we all laugh. Then, Y/N chuckled and faked at being offended.

"Are you talking to me?!" she exclaims. Her smile looked so sweet, it makes my heart melt.

"No, I'm gonna tell you something about yourself now," he says as he quickly glanced at the camera. "My name's Harry Pinero, I'm 29 and I'm here to do my bit for the community." He pauses, getting something out of his pocket while Y/N looked confused.

"So, I'm here to give you some chewing gum," he states bluntly while Y/N looked insulted, putting her hands on her chest. It made me chuckle, seeing how cute she looked—

Jesus, Harry.

"Get out of here," she swatted her hand left, watching Harry go to the 'no' side.

"You saying her mouth stinks?" Filly smirked as the boys 'aw' at him.

"I'm here to do my bit!" He shrugs as he gives Tobi some gum. "How dare she talk to my friends like that with that smelly mouth." Y/N laughs as we all cover our mouths.

"Ay, ay!" Ethan says, laughing with Filly.

"His face is hilarious, innit?" He continues as I see Y/N shake her head in mock disbelief. I make eye contact with her for a split second before looking away. I glance back at Harry and see him leaning on the 'N', looking fake offended.

Josh proceeds to go forward. "Hi, I'm Josh. I'm 28, my girlfriend said to the prettiest girl from today and ask her for a threesome." Y/N looked confused and was gonna say something before Josh cut her off. "So, I'll wait for the next girl."

We all shouted at Josh while he walked to the left side. Y/N looked bewildered at what happened which made me laugh.

"You lot are moving mad today, aren't you?" She chuckles, running a hand through her hair. "I didn't even say no, I'm done!"

"She's crazy, I like her," Chunkz smirks to no one in particular.

Filly steps forward. "I'll be honest, you seem like a lovely girl, man. I'd love to get to know you," he flirts while she nods. I try my best to not show my envy. "My name's Filly... um," he stopped, not knowing what else to say.

Josh started laughing, me chuckling along with him.

"I'll be honest, you're not in the best position right now." She shrugs and giggles, tucking a bit of her sweater in. "Someone was rude to you, the last two people. I just reckon that out of love, let me go through and you and me can talk about..."

"I mean, is that it?" She questions as Filly scoffs.

"Right, look at me. Am I attractive?" She paused there, putting her chin on her hand. She hesitates, before saying something.

"Uh, yeah!—"

"Nah, the pause, the pause!" I point out as Filly walked to the left. We all 'ooh' as Harry and Josh chuckle.

"I barely said anything!—" She gets cut off by her own laughter.

"I can't lie, she done you dirty there my boy," Harry says, patting Filly on the back.

"I barely said anything!" She repeats, "Sometimes saying less is better!" She shrugs before Ethan walks towards her.

"I'm Ethan, I'm 25. Your legs are like an Oreo, I want to split them apart and eat the good bit in the middle." Y/N scoffs as we wait for her reply.

"You can't even reach my ankles mate!" She swiped him to the late as Ethan looked insulted, looking back at us.

"Oof," I mutter towards Ethan as he goes to the 'no' side.

"Come here, just join." Harry beckons his hand. "It's an elite numbers club over here."

JJ goes next, meaning I'm after.

Oh hell.

"I'm JJ, 27 and how tall are you?" He asks smugly. Y/N ponders for a moment.

"Um, 5"9? I think—"

"5"9, what the fuck?" Tobi exclaims before going over to the left. We laugh as he continues. "I'm never going to survive!"

"Oh, also I'm KSI," JJ flexes because apparently, everyone knows his name.

Y/N nods before swiping right, chuckling. I widen my eyes in shock. "What?!" Y/N makes eye contact with me again as everyone was shouting over each other. She smiled and looked down, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.

"She knows the p's, she knows the p's," Filly shakes his head, chuckling.

"She knows her millionaires!" Ethan yelled as I go forward.

Fuck, don't mess up.

"She'd be dumb not to pick him," Filly replied, leaning on Tobi. "I'd fucking pick him!" Filly shrugs as we all howl with laughter.

Alright, this is it.

Y/N gazes at me with anticipation, waiting for me to say my line. She was using the same sweet smile, making my heart flutter.

I return the smile before talking. "Hello, I'm Harry, I'm 23—"

"Piss of Harry," JJ shouts as the others chuckle again.

"Shit, I'm 24!" I say, facepalming myself. Y/N giggles, biting her lip. "Uh, are you a Pokémon?" She tilts her head at me. "'C-cause I'd like to— Oh fuck." I mutter to myself before putting my head in my hands.

I hear the others snigger and laugh as I hid away. "Harry has a crush!" Ethan yelled as I pick my head back up. I gaze back at Y/N, seeing her giggle at me.

"No, no, go on! Finish it!" She pushes, crossing her arms.

"Right, are you a Pokémon? 'Cause I'd like to Pikachu..." I stop as my voice dies down. She was smiling, waiting for me to go on. "Naked."

Everyone started laughing at the line, as well as Y/N. She swiped right for me, gazing as I walk to the 'yes' side.

"I had to say yes," she giggles as the others clap and cheer.

"Well, I'm very grateful!" I reply as JJ fist bumps me.

"I told you, just be yourself!" JJ yells as I chuckle.

"Harry is too elite, he's elite!" Filly laughs as the others agree. Y/N was still gazing at me but her eyes swiftly turn to Chunkz as it was his turn.

I looked down, smirking to myself.

That went better than I thought it would.

Y/N'S POV

While you were leaving the studio, you looked around in your bag for your car keys but realized you couldn't find them anywhere.

"Oh, shit," you mumble, looking inside your pockets. You checked everywhere in your backpack and still couldn't find them. Then you heard someone come up to you.

"Uh, Y/N?" you turn around and see Harry from the shoot and smile up at him. You felt your cheeks heating up but you prayed he didn't see it.

"Yeah?" you reply, wondering why he was talking to you.

"I found these," he says, revealing your car keys. "I saw them drop out of your bag on your way out," he nervously chuckles while you let out a sigh of relief.

"Oh, thank God," you mutter, taking them off him. "Thank you, I thought I lost these for a minute!"

"No problem!" He replies while nodding. He looked like he wanted to say something else so you stay for a minute.

"Another thing..."

"Yeah?"

"Could- could I have your number?" Your mouth opens in shock, not believing what you were hearing. "You don't have to say yes I just- I want to get to know you," he stammers as you chuckle.

You think about it for a minute before putting your hand out. "Gimme your phone." He looked relieved as he handed it to you, unlocked. You go onto his contacts and make a new one, putting your name and number there. You glance up for a second and see Harry gazing intently, making you smile a little.

"There you are," you say, handing his phone back. "Just remember to say it's you or else I'll think you're some pyromaniac," you badly joke as he chuckles.

"I will. I'll uh, see you later," he says, walking back into the building. He glances at you again before going in which makes you blush like crazy.

You hear a few cheers from behind the door, making you shake you head.

These boys really are crazy.

𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐘 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐀𝐖𝐊𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐋𝐘 in the middle of the setup, bright white lights practically blinding him. Downing his beer in his hands, he attempted to calm his nerves in preparation for this video.

He could hear his friends laughing into his earphone, a muffled voice of JJ saying “Harry, chill! Yo, Harry chill out man!”

Throwing down the beer can, Harry groaned in frustration and nerves. “This is the worst day of my life, like- like honestly, I don’t want to be here.” “I would pay all I have in my account to not be here right now, but I’m here.” His chest rose and fell into a loud cry of all the emotions he had kept in to until now.

Hearing his friends laugh at his antics hardly helped to boost his confidence for the video, but he knew it was going to be a big hit. I mean, talking to a few attractive girls, what’s the worst that could happen?

You walked onto the set, now feeling slightly suffocated by the amount of white lighting they had included for the backgrounds.

Harry turned his gaze to you, not expecting such a beauty to walk in. His mouth fell agape for what he believed to be less than a second, but turned out not to be as he could hear the people behind the cameras and his friends laughing hysterically at him.

The closer you walked towards him, the lower his gaze got. The side camera got a clear shot of him checking you out not so subtly, Harry quickly looking away as he knew how much shit he would get for it later.

You smiled sweetly at him, knowing your instructions of not revealing any information about yourself for now. You couldn’t lie, he was gorgeous. Now feeling an intense amount of stress of being rejected by this handsome man, that would just be humiliating.

Harry’s heart practically burst when you smiled at him. If this was a cartoon, his character would definitely have huge heart eyes right now.

He gulped and without any hesitation, he spoke nervously “Yes”. You let out a sigh of relief as he said that one three letter word. Giving him an awkward thumbs up, you said a quick goodbye beginning to walk off.

“Only if, If only you, I mean you don’t? Fuck!” He yelled out at the end after attempting to fix his mistake which wasn’t even a mistake, stumbling over his words infront of you.

“Harry!” Ethan yelled into his ear piece, howling at the nervous wreck on the screen. Harry completely crumbled to the floor, letting out a cry of embarrassment.

Not only has he embarrassed himself already infront of the public, but the pretty girl he had just seen.

Wiping your sweaty hands on your jeans, you walked as slow as possible to the ‘destine to be awkward’ room.

Waddling over to the place you dreaded most, you tried to come up with any conversation starter, or any awkward silence fillers, literally anything rather to suffer this labelled worst date ever.

Harry knew it was you next, he had been waiting for this one the entire video since he last saw you. And when you decided to stay with the other 8 women, the boys had never seen Harry happier.

Realising the point of the video, Harry panicked and alerted the boys. “Boys, boys, please!”

“What?” He heard the voice of Vik speak questionably into the microphone.

“Please, please! I swear if you fucking dare!” Harry growled comedically into the earpiece.

“Oh shit! It’s the one he likes next!” He heard Ethan yell, the sound on stomped was heard immediately after, assuming they had all jumped up and down in amusement when they realised they could make this man’s life hell.

Seeing your figure enter the room made all his friends laughs seen muffled to him, it was as if someone pressed play on George Michael’s ‘Careless Whisper’ as he watched you walk his way.

Wait, no. JJ was actually playing ‘Careless Whisper’ through the microphone to Harry’s earpiece.

You leaned over to Harry, shaking his hand firmly as eye contact act wasn’t broken. “I’m Y/N” You greeted.

“Hi” Harry sighed out, tilting his head at you, completely mesmerised by your beauty. He could hear the sidemen laughing at the lovesick man but Harry actively decided to ignore them, making them laugh even harder.

You smiled at his face full of adoration as his gaze was fixated on you, “You’re Harry right?” You questioned, starting a conversation with the pretty man opposite you.

Harry’s cheeks stained a rosy blush at the way you said his name making a soft smile fall onto his face. “Yeah, yeah that’s me!”

“So what do you do?” He questioned you as if you two were on a real date, he felt easy with you, like words just fell out his mouth before he had time to protest.

As you two had a genuine conversation with flirty remakes hidden in there, JJ wouldn’t not stop pestering Harry to scratch his ass in the middle of a conversation. Each and everytime Harry ignored it.

“Scratch your fucking ass Harry!” JJ screamed into the microphone making Harry flinch in his seat.

Noticing this, you asked “Are you okay?” He nodded convincingly but pointed to something behind you, “What? What’s that?”

You turned around looking for what Harry had seen. While you turned, Harry ripped his earpiece out and threw it behind him just in time for you turning back. The hysterics the sidemen were in were unbelievable.

Harry just smiled when you asked what he actually saw and continued on with what would be one of many dates to come in the future.
