I love love love your recent artwork of Nadir, and I absolutely love the story behind it. Please make this a fic!!! Or I’d even take just a one shot. I love any sort of fic where Erik and Nadir are besties and each would die for the other but are too stubborn to admit that the other is their best friend, that’s the good content 🤌🏻

Ahhh thank you so much for your ask!! And thank you for being so kind, this has made my day ❤️. I'd love to write a fic about it, but I have the writing skills of an otter. Maybe I can coerce one of my friends >=].

BUT, if i may bother you with some headcanons of this alternative universe: I do love their friendship as well, even if Erik goes a little off the rails sometimes. I can imagine Erik talking Nadir's ears off about some random subject and Nadir being one of few people who's genuinely interested in what he has to say. Nadir probably taught him at least some morals too, although Erik didn't remember them too well.

Also… I very much like the idea of Nadir being a skilled detective and talking to Erik about some of his cases when they live together for a little while (Nadir took him in like a stray cat.) And then they spend hours speculating about a case, with Erik going all-in to figure things out. Nadir will wake up to a disheveled sleep-deprived Erik holding a paper with his awful handwriting on it like "I FIGURED IT OUT!"

Basically a Sherlock and Watson kinda dynamic, except things go south when Erik starts to make designs for others to torture people. That's when Nadir stops sharing cases because the homicide ones might inspire Erik. Clearly they already have. When people - although bad folk - even start disappearing… Well, that's when Erik becomes a case.
