He's tired. At the end of the day, he's fucking exhausted. But he still has shit to do. Paperwork to go through, cases to read, footage to review etc. He can recount nights and nights of him at the table, takeaway to the side, beer in one hand, papers in the other and a smoke hanging from his lips, all the while ignoring the ache in his muscles and the loneliness surrounding him-

It was an hour before midnight when he opened the front door to his home being greeted with the lights on and the smell of food wafting through the halls. A vast contrast from the inky night sky, and the distant stench of gun powder that seemed to follow him.

Appearing from the kitchen was you, a soft smile on your face as you took in his appearance. As soon as his eyes locked with yours he felt his whole body finally relax, letting his 'hardass' mask fall.

With you in his life his whole routine changed. There was a homemade meal every time he arrived home. You actually making him eat and then letting him do some more work once you made sure he had eaten and was clean.

It would be easy to say that his favourite part of the night would be you massaging his body, or even you chatting to him about your day as you helped peel his clothes from his body, it could even be when you so tenderly help clean his wounds.

No.

His favourite part was how you drew a domestic side of him he never knew he had.

The way you both cleaned alongside one another. Talked about life. How you vented to him and he too you, although he used little words. Cuddled on the couch watching some show you were currently invested in, him becoming equally enormed with it. And no matter how shit tired he was. Moments like that had his energy being restored. You were the one to restore it. But he knew that you knew how exhausted he was.

Because you would coax him too bed after minutes passed as you both sat on the couch, while he worked and you watched something, simultaneously massaging his body. As awake as he felt with you, you could see the bags under his eyes growing, took note of how he reread the same page then moved on, watched him stifle back a yawn.

Then all you would do was turn of the tv. Stop massaging him and go into the bedroom, saying nothing. A couple minutes would tick by then he would be walking in too and as soon as he saw you on the bed, that very exhaustion he felt earlier hit him like a truck. He was wrapped in your arms, head nuzzled into your neck, one of your legs over his waist, his own arms locked around you.

"G'night, my love." He murmered against the softness of your skin.

"Goodnight, my love." You hushed. Smiling at the way he immediatly fell asleep after you said those words, you following close behind.

Sum| Chris starts noticing different details in his life that have changed after you moved in with him, even at work.

• I feel like Chris isn't a morning person at all. He hates the sound of his alarm waking him up and he changes it when he remembers because the same sound pisses him off.

•Ohhh this man loves to kiss your back a lot in the mornings. He turns and sees your back, kisses in your back, shoulders, and neck. Soon your lips when you wake up by his kisses.

•He likes to stay in bed for a few minutes to just cuddle with you and talk or just stay silent. He just wants you close(he's touched starved) before he get ready to work

The alarm goes off, waking up Chris with a groan. He lets the alarm go off for a few minutes till his girlfriend whines annoyingly, "Turn it off…" Chris moves his arm to his phone and pulls it towards him. He tried to open his eyes the best he could with the brightness blinding him. He turns it off and slams the phone on the bed. He stretches and turns towards you, seeing your back. He couldn't help but kiss your shoulder.

"Good morning." he whispered and kissed your neck. You smiled and said, "good morning." Turning around, you gave him a kiss on his lips. "What do you want for lunch today?" You asked and Chris shook his head. "Sleep." You smiled and ran your hands through his messy hair. "Wish that was on the menu." You sit up and hold the sheets up to your chest. Chris chuckled at this, seeing it was stupid that you still covered yourself even if he's seen alredy seen you in your amazing birth suit. "I'll cook us something. It's my turn." Chris says and gets off the bed. He grabs his pajama pants and puts on some fluffy slippers you got him on his birthday. "You get some rest." He says. You smiled and thanked him.

Chris nods and closes the door behind him. It's a normal thing now. You moved in with him three months ago and it's become a thing. You and him take turns on who makes breakfast and lunch while the other takes a short nap or takes their time changing. He saw you were working late yesterday and decided that he'd take the time to make something while you took a nap.

You did take a nap, but ended up having nightmares of work. You open your eyes as the alarm you set goes off, making you get up and turn it off. You go through your closet and look for your work uniforms. Today you felt happy, so you wore the [F/Color] suit with its tight skirt. You smiled at it and placed it on the bed. You go to the bathroom.

Chris was wrapping up the lunch he made with paper and put it in the lunch box you got him for you and him. Chris also noticed that you have been getting stuff for him and you that actually help him. A lunch box, organized seasoning, organized dishes where they are supposed to, and much more that just makes his life easier. While he smiled to himself, he heard footsteps. He turned and saw you and he smiled.

You had your work clothes on while you looked through your purse to make sure you had everything you needed. He loves it when you wear tight clothes because he can see your rolls and how good the outfits or dresses you wear look amazing on you.

"You have everything?" You asked Chris, getting his attention. He nods and says, "Yes, got everything."

"You also have your hydro, ibuprofen, your lunch box, and extra deodorant?"

"Yes, yes, I have everything [Name]." He says and holds his backpack. He looks inside and shows you he had everything he needed. "Your wallet."

"I have that right he-" He touched the back of his pocket, then the front ones. "I don't." You smiled and handed him his wallet. "Always make sure." You say and kiss his cheek. "Go get changed. I'll put the lunch in your backpack." You say and Chris nods. He goes back to the room and looks for his work clothes. He goes to the bathroom and sees that you left the stuff he needs out.

•Car rides are fun and sometimes they aren't. It's usually quiet because you are thinking about work and so is Chris. But when you two do talk, it gets fun.

•Chris likes to ask about your work and how it's going. He likes to listen to you talk. He even turns down the radio, pulls the windows up and drives a little slower to hear you talk.

While in the car ride to work, you talked to Chris about work that happened yesterday about something you and your team will be working on. It made him notice how you give him company in car rides to work and back home. He didn't have to listen to the radio all the time anymore now that you two drive to work together.

"How about you, how's work?" You ask and hold his hand, placing it on your thigh. Chris gives it a light squeeze and goes on to explain that there is going to train a rookie they got three days ago. "Don't be cold on him." You say. You knew Chris looked intimidating when first meeting him. You were even scared to talk to him when they sent him to the lab to get something. But Chris needed up being a sweetheart. His horrible puns made you laugh and his flirting too. Soon, he asked you out for a coffee.

"I need to, it's part of my job." He says and you nod. "True. We both work two different things. I have to be patient with new workers and welcome them. You have to be harsh on them."

"Sometimes." He mentions. Chris did break the rule. He wants his team to feel welcomed and he wants that rookie to also feel that, be part of the team. He could say one of his terrible dad jokes he got from one of his team members who is a dad and says so many dad jokes every second he can.

The car is parked, making grab all your belongings. You get out of the car and walk to the door. Chris follows and is greeted by other workers. "Good morning Dr. [Last]." A worker says and you greet them back. You grab your coat and your name tag. "I'll see you later." You turn to Chris and kiss him.

•Coming back home was at different times. You are the one that usually leaves early while Chris stays to get some last information about next time's mission that will happen.

•You end up taking the car and make dinner while he is gone. If you are too tired, you grab takeout for the two of you and continue to work on paperwork or simply watch your Favorite show.

• Chris used to feel lonely coming home from work. He'd just grab whatever cold food there was and microwave it. He did sometimes make himself something, but almost every day, he'd come home tired and simply would like to sleep.

You've made his life a little easier.

•If you end up coming home late, he makes dinner, cleans, and gets your comfortable clothes ready on the shared bed.

You ended up working late today. Chris had to take the ride home alone. He had time to get some take out that you have been craving. He walks inside the house and puts the plastic bag on the kitchen counter.

He goes to the bedroom and grabs some clothes. He went to the bathroom to take a shower to get the sweat and smell off him and once he was out, he went to grab one of your comfortable shirts with your pajama shorts. He goes back to the leaving room and hears the door unlock. "I'm home!" You yelled and threw your shoes off. You took your coat off and saw Chris standing there. You smiled and walked up to him. "What's for dinner my lovely house wife?" You ask and kiss his lips. "I got us some take out that you've been craving" He whispered and lifted you up, making you scream. "Chris!"

He walks to the shared bedroom while still holding you. "Get changed, you probably feel uncomfortable with these on." He says as he unbuttoned your white shirt, making you feel your face hot and get goosebumps. "A-Alright." You say and hold his hand. "Put a movie on while I change." You say and Chris nods, a little disappointed he couldn't see. He leaves the room and closes the door behind him.

• Sleeping with Chris is the best. He's a big Buffy guy who is always warm when you hug him. So cuddles are a thing you two do in bed.

• He is usually the big spoon, but doesn't mind being the small spoon. He sometimes even wants to just bury his face in your chest while you run your fingers through his hair.

•He doesn't talk much when it comes at night. Neither do you. But if it's gossip about work, you must tell your boyfriend. It's the first thing you have to tell him.

•Chris falls asleep by your voice. He finds it peaceful and just feeling your warmth with him makes him sleepier.

• He likes to run his hands all over your body. He likes to feel the rolls on your body. He finds them sexy >;)

You brushed your teeth beside Chris in the bathroom. He had just finished brushing his teeth. Chris walks out and lays on the bed, waiting for you. You wash your mouth with water and turn off the water, clean your face, and turn off the light. You walked to the bed and lay next to Chris.

Chris lays his head on your chest and you smile. You turn off the lamp and run your hands through his hair. "How was work?"

"Horrible. They made me stay extra just because someone else messed up and I had to clean for them. They mixed up the wrong chemicals, which caused a mess, and I had to re-write the records for them. I am their supervisor after all, so I didn't really pay attention." You say and sigh. "I still think it's a little unfair." You say. He just nods, finally feeling the hit of sleep come to him.

Chris has struggled with sleeping. He'd move from one side to the other, flip the pillow, shuffle, and then groan because he can't sleep. But now that he has you on his side and being able to just be with you, it's made him sleep much easier. Yes, he has those days where he can't sleep. But just your warmth makes him sleepy just how he makes you sleepy. "How about I make us something for dinner tomorrow?"

"That would be…great…" Chris mumbles and closes his eyes. Soon, you hear him snoring. You smiled and your eyes, falling asleep.

So Chris.....big tough man right? Well yes but also no! He's honestly just a big teddy bear!

He absolutely gives the best hugs when you need them because I mean look at him! Look at those arms! Does he kill people? Yes, but does it matter? NO! He still gives great hugs!

Hes a great cook....anyone who disagrees can fight me. But he loves cooking and even knows how to bake a tiny bit.

Hes a cat person, he has nothing against dogs he just prefers cats! Maybe its because he act like one lmao-

Hes very protective, if you ever get hurt or are in danger he will always be there and he always knows the best way to solve any issues you may be having.

Like his hug giving, hes a pro at cuddles. Always the big spoon though because hes too prideful to be the little spoon.

He loves giving you his clothes, most likely they'll be pretty big on you so it just makes his heart just beat a little faster when you wear his big shirts and sweatshirts when hes around.

This man....he is such a heavy sleeper though and you can't tell me he doesn't snore.

But honestly I can't blame him, he works a lot of the time so when he comes home hes usually exhausted and ready to just pass out.
