I made it to the gym again today with my friend from high school, he was eager to take me through his push workout. It was incredibly satisfying to push myself in that way, lifting all the way to failure feels incredible. Near the end he mentioned that he really enjoys lifting with me because of how hard I push myself and he was surprised when I told I had never trained like this before. But him telling me that was a good confirmation that this is the way I'm meant to train and live my life. I need to get out of my way and keep this going.
