Child Harm/murder Mention

Child harm/murder mention

Honestly, the folks down at the office should have taken a closer look into Frederick C. Krueger when the power plant technician decided to become their nighttime custodian, coupled with his daily duties.

Like, I know he's a grown 20-something married man with a young daughter who's got to bring home the bacon to support his family. Still, these people provided Fred Krueger access to a hypothetical killing floor he's developed the appropriate skillset to operate. Then proceeded to collectively ignore him while he got up to all manner of evil shenanary. This decision provided an irritable gremlin man with a ready-made excuse for why he's:

a. Scrubbing at suspicious red spots on the floor.

b. Sweeping up varying quantities of "dust" made from the ashes of murdered children.

c. Carefully clearing obstructive objects from the boilers(actually heat-cracked bones) at three in the morning.

These 1960s supervisors might not care about whether one of their workers keels over from exhaustion, but they really thought this guy working at least two labor-intensive full time jobs was fine to repair and maintain machinery? Even an ordinary man becomes a workplace liability when he's averaging in minimal sleep. Where was the freaking oversight? It's little wonder Springwood closed the plant down months before the parents torched the place with him inside. If I were a parent, I'd be furious. Now, it's not implausible that upper management would be so unwise, and the internet says its legal. I'm just amazed the comics/proper canon never tried turning this alarming situation into a horror comedy.

child abuse/murder mention

So, I can't entirely agree with the characterization from the Friday the 13th comic, Pamela's tale. However, I'm more than happy to steal the idea that Pamela and Elias initially came from Cadiz, Ohio.

Ohio is a big state, but the location makes it... somewhat more plausible that Edward Underwood (legal name Walter Fingle) and Elias Voorhees would cross paths.

AU where Pamela Voorhees succeeds at murdering both men after witnessing a 6-year-old being made to proposition clients on behalf of his pimp adopted father's prostitute.

And then, Pamela adopts the child, who becomes Fredrick Voorhees, Jason's protective elder brother, thus changing the fates of herself, her sons, and numerous others in one swoop.
