The sad thing about the model episode in tdroti is that Jo has probably been feeling really insecure about her gender due to Lightning misgendering her constantly and no one correcting him except for her (i think Brick might have once but i don't remember), just giving him a look, and she probably just wanted to look pretty and traditionally female to affirm herself and used the yeti as an excuse.
