I love fanfic authors. I read a fic once and the author said they had the friend who is a real nuclear physicist teach them all about this radioactive compound and how it reacts with different materials so that their fic could be accurate. It was smut.

Never forgotten but...never finished.

If new photos of Cerys and Ciri appear, people will have zero complaints and a lot of admiration. And if a picture appears with Roche and Ciri, then there will only be thousands of indignations, doubts and nasty things, because their ship must prove its right to exist, it simply cannot exist, no one believes in it.

It shouldn't be like this.

There's so much space for everybody and their ships on the internet. I don't understand why would someone shame the other person for having a different ship, like come on people, be nice to each other.

You don't have to love a certain ship or even like it, so just don't comment on it. Everyone can love and like different things and that is totally normal.

This is my opinion on the whole "war" that started about shipping Ciri with Roche/Cerys or other characters. If you don't like it, just don't care and don't shame others. It is not that hard to not click on the keyboard lol

It's Ciri and cerys who won't get along. And Roche and iorveth too. And Roche and Ciri have topics to talk about. For example, the theme of adventures with Geralt, or the dark side of character, or inspiration for victory in the battle against the Wild Hunt.

You have a few points here, and as I mentioned before, everyone can have their own opinion and if it's done politely then it's nice to share them with other!

For me it is very interesting actually how in the books only Hjalmar is mentioned when there is topic about Ciri often visiting Skellige, kind of their relationship, but never Cerys. I know, that her character was mostly made by CDPR, but like yk, it would be a fun to have something in the actual book lore imo. (Andrzej Sapkowski, if you're reading this, maybe another Witcher book, hmm???)

Idk, maybe Roche and Ciri would get along, maybe not. Maybe Cerys and Ciri, or even Iorveth and Roche as life has many treaky ways if you ask me. They say that the "opposites attracts" and sometimes when you're both the same it doesn't work, so ig we can only imagine how everything would go with any of them.

I've just love the never ending possibilities with human's imagination.

Why Roche/Ciri ship is bad?

Well, looking at this from my perspective and opinion, it just doesn't feel right.

I am not saying that it is bad (ships are never bad, love every one of them) as every fandom has like a thousand ships of characters that hadn't even met and there are even ships between fandoms.

But if it comes to Roche/Ciri ship in Witcher, I don't think they would get along. Looking at it more psychologically, they wouldn't have a lot to talk about/share with each other etc. I just feel like they wouldn't make that much great of a relationship, but that is just my opinion, remember.

Everyone can have their own and there's nothing wrong with that when you're being nice and respectful.
