THERE COULD HAVE BEEN SOMETHING THEREEE. however Sun showing worry after Nexus was shot (he even called him Moon. which is both good and bad cause SUN PLEASE NEXUS IS NOT MOON HE'S *NEXUS* PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT HE'S LITERALLY BEGGING YOU TO UNDERSTAND THAT. but also oh my god a part of Sun still sees Nexus as Moon. explodes and throws up and dies) and him still seeming icked by the concept of killing Nexus makes me smile. don't give up on him. go bright boy go

I have the HC that after Monty electrocuted him, Nexus was left with permanent plate damage, causing him to have a hard time thinking or remembering things. This also gives him chronic migraines and dizziness.

And not even moving to another frame could solve that problem since the damaged part was specifically the plate where the components that hold its memory are located, an important piece of hardware which must be moved from frame to frame or Nexus would end up with no memories and basically being a New New Moon under the care of Dark Sun.

Another HC (and one I actively represent in my Nexus design) is that he changed his nightcap to a simpler one (without stars) and removed the bell. In its place he placed the only whitershards piece he has which causes the tip of the cap to be constantly destroyed and reformed non-stop and creating a kind of cage made out of fabric around the shard.

^ This is also actively harming him. The whitershards only make his condition worse but he doesn't care.

He misses Solar so much, not a day goes by without thinking about him 😔

Nexus also drew his tattoo that he matched with Solar in the new frame (the Nexus frame). Solar unfortunately no longer has his part of the tattoo in the frame that Eclipse made for him.

It is 3am, i answer you asks at the wildest time help, anyways! I will attempt to say any and all that comes to mind rn

He's half blind, mostly from all the damage he went through while trapped in his cell -stares at Monty and the computer-

He's the tallest, aka taller than Dark Sun too, it's funny (Except i also have the HC that Sol can change his size, so honestly, Nex is only taller cuz Sol is entertaining him)

He has trembles

He has ticks, mostly as a like- result of his MANY electrocutions, both from Monty/the computer, and from touching the bars of his cell

He sleeps/charges holding Solar's googles in his hands

He wanted Sol to be his brother so badly, because family was all he knew, was all he ever hard, he woke up and was forced to be family to others, he doesn't understand/know any other kind of relationship, it's either family or enemies

He's bipolar

He misses Solar more than he'd like to admit

The shocks from Monty/the computer, fucked up his motherboard, and so he's struggling even more with regulating his emotions, which drove him even more to giving himself a lobotomy to not feel shit anymore

I prob have more, but they're either ship related (so not part of the question) or i'm forgetting them atm lol

not to jinx anything but at least it doesn't look like solar is gonna just forget him and be all 'besties' with old moon at least.

though, he's the only one i thought would think rationally but after nexus visited once, hetold the others that they all have to kill him soooo...not high hopes

I have a bad feeling that the script will do anything extreme to separate Solar from New Moon just like they did with Ruin, so that there is no bridge left between them to keep them together with friends or brothers etc. Because this show hate gays mans lol. But well, we will always have the AUs.
