so you are telling me Tine, the person who feels very insecure about his worth, who was "oblivious" to Sarawat's feelings mostly because he wouldn't let himself accept that someone might actually like him and find him special, the one that decided to play that song and prove that he was worthy of Sarawat's love, who CRIED when he didn't perform so well because he thought he lost the one he liked, that Tine, who overcame his fears and insecurities, to let himself be vulnerable and open, to trust Sarawat, THAT TINE HAD TO SEE HIS BOYFRIEND'S FIRST LOVE COME BACK AND HUG HIM AND SAY SHE LOVES HIM AND THAT SHE "KNOWS HE FEELS THE SAME"??? things that were completely out of character for sarawat , which were included to create drama :

not mentioning that tine was his boyfriend ? sarawat has always been the kind of person to show tine off as his boyfriend - he made a point out of it , we have seen it on multiple occasions . we also saw that he had a hard time pretending to be just friends with tine in front of type . and yet , when his best friend from high school comes over and repeatedly meets tine , wat never mentions him as his boyfriend ? more over , the first time she comes , he gestures at the whole room ( where tine is too ) and introduces them all as friends . what the fuck is this ?

keeping secrets from tine ? just in this episode , he told tine that he could talk to him about anything . he's always made sure to be honest , when they started dating ( the last scene in ep 11 case in point ) . wat is also incredibly caring of tine , and him hiding something from tine right after he realized tine couldn't sleep and cried for days because wat's relationship with pam wasn't clear to him , is absolutely unrealistic . and then he goes ahead and hides the song as well ? that's bullshit .

not being clear about his boundaries ? im sorry , but regardless of who wat is talking to - be it one of his fans , man or even tine , he is always Very honest and blunt about everything , setting clear boundaries . that's literally what we found out about him from day one ( remember all those videos of him rejecting girls ? ) . and now he has clearly felt this weird vibe with pam , and even if he didn't - by the end of the episode , she started talking about it straightforward , they moved from the hall to the room , and then she continued talking about it - he knew at that point , obviously . but not only did wat never stop her and explain things to her , he also let her stand there and just hug him for no reason ? fuck off ....

i hate hate HATE unnecessary , unrealistic , out of character drama , but that's what you fucking did 2gether . IN THE SECOND TO LAST EPISODE , CLEARLY DRAGGING IT ALL OUT TILL THE VERY END OF THE SHOW . ABSOLUTELY FUCK OFF .

EP 12 ramblings

I’m honestly really disappointed in this episode. I love 2gether but the last three episodes were really weird for me. Episode 10 and 11 seemed like fillers while Episode 12 is one hell of a ride.

EP 12 completely destroyed Wat’s character. Don’t get me wrong, I love the part where Wat tried to appease Tine’s insecurities but my god, not even a minute after Tine poured his heart out and told Wat how he fucking cried all night because of all the negative thoughts gnawing at his head, we have Wat defensively snatching a paper from Tine???? How realistic is that??? Did the writers honestly think we’ll eat that shit up?

Wat was really something else in this episode. In the part where he was introducting Pam to his band, his fucking bandmates knew that Tine was jealous! How can he miss that!!? And for the love of god, why did he not introduce Tine at all to Pam????????? HE FUCKING WANTED TO NAME HIS IG LOVETINE THEN SUDDENLY YOU’re TELLING ME HE’s ALL SHY AND EMBARRASSED WITH HIS HIGHSCHOOOL FRIEND??????????

And the last part oh my gOD. HOw can they not have Wat chase after Tine?????? Wtf was that??????????

AND HOW CAN WAT SLEEP WHILE TINE CRIED BESIDE HIM????? WHY DIDNT HE ASK TINE WHAT WAS WRONG? WHY ARE YOU NOT ASLEEP? WHY ARE YOU LISTENING TO MUSIC AT THIS HOUR?? WHATS BOTHERING YOU??? ASDFGHHKKL

Then we have this old trope in BL dramas demonizing women. I loved how 2gether tried to veer away from that with Pear and Earn. But they destroyed Pam. They made her a vile relationship wrecker. The show really made her go out of her way, transfer colleges, and change her entire fucking major just to chase after Wat??? Who she knew was in a relationship??? I mean, they really made her this one dimensional bitch who had the audacity to say outloud that she wanted Wat back because he found a new friend??

[NOVEL SPOILER] In the book, Pam was a sweet girl. She supported Wat and Tine. She was in the phone when Wat tried to re-assure Tine that nothing was going on between him and Pam. The two lovesick idiots even forgot that she was still on the phone!

With all these UNNECESSARY ANGST AND DRAMA, are you telling me that they could wrap it all up in one episode??? No no no no. We spent 10 episodes building up Tine and Wat’s relaitonship - from strangers to friends to lovers. How can they breakup and reconcile in just 1 episode? That would be unrealistic as hell.

We still have ManType to worry about. Are we not getting any character development from Type?? Who was the person in the polaroid photo he was holding while crying? Why was he attending so many personal growth/healing seminars??? Just because Man stopped chasing after him, he’ll do a 180???? I expected more from his character to be honest. From the way the show built him, he came off as someone coming out from a bad relationship with a lot of trust issues (like Tine).

I really have high hopes for 2gether. I thought it would at least be progressive in how it handles these problematic tropes in BL dramas.

GMMTV better give us a 2hr episode next week. They can’t possibly wrap all this shit up in 48mins????

I JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY DO THEY HAVE TO DO THIS. Are they going the Theory of Love route? Because fuck the only thing that saved TOL’s last episode is the OffGun sweet kisses, otherwise all things were rush. I mean, they used 10 episodes to establish Sarawat and Tine’s relationship. How can they expect to fit in a breakup AND reconciliation in 1 episode???? Not to mention, they still have to resolve ManType’s conflict.

And sarawat you are such a disappointment. It’s cruel. If they’re still following the novel, I understand why Sarawat acted that way when Tine saw the song bUT OH MY GOD TINE FUCKING OPENED HIS HEART AND POUR OUT ALL HIS INSECURITIES ON YOU WAT. YOU SHOULD HAVE ACTED BETTER.

THE BOOK ALREADY MADE ME HURT FOR TINE BUT WIN CRYING AND SOBBING MADE MY GUTS CLENCH. No no no no. I didn’t appreciate GMMTV breaking my heart like this.

On a sidenote, Pam is kinda likeable in the novel. Why was she demonized like this. Makes me go back to the problem of BL series using women as mere plot devices. I thought 2gether was a game changer in that aspect.
