Needing to find a place to stay that not many knew of to hide from Romeo’s mommy, the girl and her small patchwork family moved to Derry. A quaint little town that was in the middle of nowhere. The bad lady wouldn’t be able to find her godfather. They didn’t know anyone, and the little girl was determined to make some friends. It never was hard for her since she was an extroverted five-year-old. She wasn’t in school yet so finding friends would be done through trips to the playground.

This time, she went alone because her mommy was busy with school which apparently was on a computer! Walking around by her lonesome was foreign to Marvel, and she was quieter than normal because there weren't any kids in sight. Her small hands were hitting each other softly in a clapping pattern, but only her fingers were colliding so there was no sound.

Spying a pretty flower closer to the woods she ran to it, crouching down and saying to it, “Hi Mr. Flower!” A high-pitched voice poked at her ears and she moved her eyes up, seeing the clown. Her hands went to her mouth as she gasped, a smile blooming on her face. “Clown!” she exclaimed, childish glee in her voice and eyes. She bounded over to him, smiling as she added, “I like your paint!”

To be honest, outsiders normally were not welcome into Derry… But after a few select encounters with characters that would help him very much in the collecting of food, he figured that it wouldn’t be too bad to let a few in, so long as they didn’t run rampant over the land that he used to feed himself every handful of years. He could smell the fear on the other, it was faint, but still there. As if they weren’t afraid of Pennywise per say, but more afraid of the fact that they were in this place.

“You have the scent of a place far from here…” He spoke with his eerie, childlike voice. Now why would anyone come to Derry. Perhaps it was just out of curiosity to see why this place was so bizarre. His golden eyes focusing on the newcomer, one being incredibly lazy(more so than before those damn kids had damaged it) but still allowing him to see.
