val thought that maybe he knew about them stalking them. if that was true, they better just come clean. however they weren’t exactly sure if that was what he was getting at… so they chose to wait.

“that’s fine. i didn’t even expect you to notice me. i’m surprised you did.”

they chuckled to themself before giving a sigh. however once romeo had taken their chin into his hand, they gave him a wry smile. though they seemed happy!

“heh… why? i like you. i really really really like you, romeo.”

his name had accidentally slipped out. they were hoping he wouldn’t catch on. after all, he hadn’t even given them his name yet! so it might come off as… odd. so they attempted to brush it off by continuing on.

“i’ve liked you for… maybe a little over a month. i’ve maybe even become obsessed with you. i like you so much!”

they seemed to be becoming a little dreamy the more they spoke. it was probably because they were talking face to face with the one they liked!

“i would even die for you. i would tear my own heart out for you if you needed me to!… ah… sorry… maybe that’s going a bit far.”

what the immortal humanoid said may have been true, but they didn’t want to scare him off. they were trying to make him theirs after all…

A smile played on Romeo’s face as he listened to the other. They were interesting; he didn’t know why he thought this, but something was there.

“How can I not notice someone smaller than everyone else and quite adorable as well,” he asked. Since he went to clubs a lot, this individual truly did stand out.

Raising his eyebrows at the name drop, he was a little surprised they knew his name. Well, maybe they asked around, he thought as he gave them the benefit of the doubt.

Staying silent, the incubus let them speak until they had spilled almost everything. Even that they would spill their guts for him. In all honesty, he was surprised? He didn’t really know how to react. It was rare for anyone to say this unless he’s already slept with them and then decided he wanted to keep their heart and let them wither and die. But this was a stranger. One he’s seen a couple times, but overall a stranger.

“Why would you like me when I’m, in layman’s terms, a man-whore? I can understand if you just want to sleep with me, but why do you seem genuinely interested in who I am as a person?” he questioned, confused why anyone would want him for anything other than sex.

Since he was an incubus, he naturally looked attractive in people’s eyes and helped make them easier prey. At this moment, he realized they rarely would have been close enough to be in his infatuation field and he wasn’t even currently using it. That means this person saw him as he truly was, not as the sex demon he was.

“....who are you,” he demanded, his eyes narrow as he looked for their reaction. His already tall stature helped promote his dominance, but his eyes were piercing as well.

they gave a soft smile before going to sit next to him. he looked even better up close! never had they been this close to him before, and it was finally happening.

“that’s good. i’ve been wanting to talk to you. for a long while now. i’ve been seeing you around a lot, you know?”

of course, they wouldn’t admit that they were actually stalking him. they thought it would scare him off, which is what they didn’t wanna do. they weren’t even looking him in the eyes as they spoke. they seemed a bit… nervous. they didn’t sound that way, however.

“i was thinking that maybe we should hang out or something like that. i’ve become infatuated with you. you really do interest me!”

it almost sounded as if… they weren’t even questioning him. it was as if they were purposely trying to not give him a choice. which with them, that was most likely possible.

Taking a seat on the bench, he waited to see what this person was made of. Since they had seen him around so many times, maybe they wanted a piece of him too. It would be a little unusual though since not all of his “dates” made appearances to clubs after he got his hands on them.

After hearing that they had been seeing him a lot, he nodded, “I’ve seen you a couple times too. Sorry I never had time to give you the time of day.” The incubus had no clue how much they had actually been watching him. It was probably for the best for the time being.

Their lack of eye contact made him a little sad, he genuinely did enjoy looking into people’s eyes. Especially when they die and the life leaks out of them and dead eyes stare back at him. Well, he’d see this being’s eyes sooner or later so he didn’t say anything.

Eyebrows raised, a grin formed on his face. Well, this deerlet has a little crush, Romeo thought to himself. Deciding to be a little more forward, he took the person’s chin and angled their face up to his so they could look into his blue eyes while he asked, “Oh really? Why’s that?” A sensual smile was on his face as he stared at Val, wanting to know what his deerlet was about.
