K So Ive Seen A Few Posts And Comments Today About How Alador Is A Good Dad And Cares For His Kids And

K so I’ve seen a few posts and comments today about how Alador is a “good dad” and “cares for his kids” and uhhhhh no I’m not letting that slide.

I like that narrative and I wish it was true but. It’s not.

He’s complicit at best

He’s clearly not afraid of Odalia so it’s not like he can’t stand up to her, as shown in the end of Escaping Expulsion. He enables her and CLEARLY, she listens to him. So if he wanted her to stop - she would. But he doesn’t.

Maybe he doesn’t have the energy to argue with her every day or maybe he just doesn’t know how fucked up it is or maybe he actually doesn’t care about his kids’ wellbeing, idk. Either way neither of them are good parents.

Even if Alador isn’t the one hurting them or saying awful things or controlling them he’s still partaking in their abuse by allowing it to happen.

Bottom line, Odalia is literally abusing her kids (Amity at least but I’m assuming the twins too) and Alador let’s her do it even though he has the means to stop it if he wants to.

It just seems like they’re more focused on their inventions/business and money than their kids which makes me wonder why they had kids at all tbh. Nothing we’ve seen so far in the show points to either of them actually caring about their children so I can’t sit here and listen to people say what a good dad Alador is because no he fucking isn’t
