It's Actually So Important To Me That Andrew Gives Neil The Keys To The Columbia House Before They Get
It's actually so important to me that Andrew gives Neil the keys to the Columbia house before they get together and before Andrew ever thinks something could happen between them. As far as Andrew knows, Neil doesn't swing, and Andrew himself would never act on his attraction because Neil is dangerous, so the painfully meaningful, tender gesture of giving him his house keys is just... selfless. It's just "I want this scared rabbit to know he has a home to return to when he feels the urge to run", even if he doesn't return for or to Andrew, Andrew wants him to feel safe :')

Remus facing his demon
Hey, first of all I’d like to thank you for all the lovely words and condolences. I’m feeling quite okay right now. I am still sad of course, but my thoughts are with my friend’s husband and sister, who suffer most.
I can’t believe it myself, but I actually finished my newest Sirius painting in August! (very last day, but still 😅 Grumpy SIrius in Grimmauld place 🤭 It has been a long time since I painted a more detailed background. It was a great experience, but very exhausting. I also made some bad perspective mistakes. Please ignore them 😅 I really put much effort into it, but in the end I still messed it up.

i think people forget that mary hartford loved her son so, so much. even though nathan was a horrible person, she had a kid, a house, an empire. she gave that all up when she heard her son might be killed. not will be, but might. the possibility of neil dying was enough for her to literally pack up her entire life, steal money, and succumb to a life of running and paranoia. was she a great mother? not necessarily, she abused neil and installed him with beliefs that only hurt him in the end. but mary hartford was not a villain. she, like everyone else in aftg, was a complex character. she sacrificed it all for neil, and eventually died for him too. hate mary all you want but neil josten would not exist without her. she protected neil with the same ferocity that neil protected the foxes
