Hope for a Better Ending ⚔️

A piece inspired by the latest summer event in Genshin Impact! The way everything could have been avoided, but the townspeople were scared and wanted to immediately slay the dragon; however, if they just would’ve talked with the dragon, they would have realized that he was just scared too…it felt like such a Silver and Malleus moment. So I turned it into a storybook that Lilia is reading to Silver and Silver doesn’t like the ending of it at all. Silver would rather change it and show the dragon kindness, which Lilia finds very touching. This piece may or may not foreshadow Book 7, who can tell 🤷‍♀️

thought: slightly tipping up boothill's hat with a finger to give him a forehead kiss

THIS made me want to beat up air in the best way. SOFT BOOTHILL ALERT 🚨‼️

This is probably Boothill’s favorite thing. EVER. Absolutely something that could make him short circuit on the spot (which did happen when you initially started doing it), just because he feels so loved, and he can’t get over how stupidly adorable that is.

One of the very few things that can genuinely catch him off guard; one second he’s busy playing with his phone, and then you tip his hat up, pressing a gentle kiss on his forehead. Once Boothill registers the warmth of your lips, his eyes focus on something blurry in the distance - he’s staring and letting out no words, none until he hears you giggling. He tries to hide the rare redness of his cheeks with his hat and pulls it down lightly, grumbling quietly.

Boothill does get used to it after a while, deep down hoping you’d never stop doing it, unfortunately - he refuses to ask you, so he just suffers until you do it; but when you do, he grabs you by your arm and gazes intensely into your eyes.

“Again. Do it again.”

There’s just something in his mind that immediately shuts him down (thankfully not literally now), really, it’s just so damn cute - you tip his hat up. To give him a kiss on his forehead. If he could, he’d have butterflies in his stomach right now, alas - his hands instinctively place themselves on his firm, metallic equivalent, as if they truly ravaged inside.

But in his mind, he still remembers; and thanks to you - he doesn’t have to worry about forgetting the feeling, quite the contrary - relishing the fact that he can still feel loved the same way, just like during the times he was truly human.

not sure if u know abt sahsr but i'm considering pulling for boothill e6 because his e6 has him with his human body and I think it might be comforting to "have" that in a strange way. wonder what boothill would think ab that if he were self aware

Boothill would definitely be very moved - obviously not showing it to you, when you play though! He's surprised you'd even want to pull his eidolons, going so far to get the last one possible.

He's convinced you just want him to be stronger in game - fair enough, that's what most do when the character interests them enough right? Well, not this time. Still, he's grateful and will do everything to make your experience better!

Though, when he learns you pulled his 6th eidolon purely because there's a glimpse of his body before becoming a cyborg... He warms up to you even more. He awaits the day you log in again, if you're too busy. He feels your presence and it comforts him. He's pumped to be guided by you, helping you with whatever you decide to farm this day with a little more vigor.

Wherever you are, Boothill only wishes to tell you that he appreciates your kindness.

Boothill's been on the run to find you for a very long time - and bingo, here you are! Sipping a glass of wine in some fancy hotel, quietly sitting in the corner of the room, seemingly suspecting nothing.

His eyes focus on you - it's his only chance to get some more information and progress with his only goal.

Before Boothill approached you, he thought what would be the right way to start a conversation just enough, so you don't immediately flee or suspect him for anything - so this time, instead of pulling out his gun, the cyborg stood patiently above you and extended his arm to you.

"May we have a dance?" Boothill asks, his voice oozing like honey to captivate you further, and much to his surprise, you agree, taking his hand and following his lead onto the dance floor.

Time keeps passing as you two dance, and Boothill can't help, but grow more mesmerized by you every second; the way you spin and look at him it almost makes your eyes glitter in the light. Your skin glows as he dips you down, and his own voice screams in his head - but his hand runs up your thigh and he soaks the hunger for you like air.

The smell of your perfume reaches his nose and overwhelms his leftover senses, making him want more. He kisses your hand mid-dancing, barely stopping himself from kissing your oh so soft, lipstick adorned lips when he holds you so close you're almost face to face with him; you two move on the dance floor like two pieces of perfect puzzles together. Like yin and yang, you complement each other flawlessly, your intertwined hands holding so firmly, just as if Boothill found the perfect match.

Ah... while the goal of his will be the most important, perhaps having you by his side is not so bad. In fact, the initial plan of his flashed in his mind only once by the end of your dance - maybe teaming up in more than one way can be beneficial for both of you.

So after reading Boothill's leaked story I need some sort of fluff 😭 my heart is fractured

Hello anon! Here are some random Boothill headcanons I had in my drafts for a while 🥺👉👈

Boothill wakes you with pressing kisses on your face if you sleep too long. Well, "too long" in at least in his mind - he's the one staying up all night, unless he needs to recharge himself. Once the morning sun begins to dance with its rays on your face, Boothill props himself up with his elbow and tenderly brushes the hair away from your face, pressing a soft kiss on your forehead first. And then.. on your eyelids, your cheeks, your nose, your chin, your temples, neck, jaw— and then you throw a pillow at him.

Boothill is THAT loud parent on your kid's performances. He cheers loudly from his seat and stands up when he sees his child coming on stage, "WOOO! THAT'S IT! THATS MY BABY! DESTROY THEM!" And then claps his hands so loud it sounds like two pans hitting each other.

Boothill rarely gets vulnerable - he's a very optimistic guy, but sometimes he just can't escape it - and when he does, he refers to you as "my love." It's a rare occurrence, but when you hear him speak these words - you already know he needs you now. No buts, no ifs, he just needs you to hold him; and gods, it hurts so bad to see him, but you love hearing these words come out of his lips because he means it - you're his only love.

I've read somewhere that Boothill short-circuits when he's embarrassed AND I STAND BY IT. 1000%. I am here to spread this like a disease. His system is definitely able to process his emotions, but when you do something that makes his heart skip a beat, he freezes in his spot, his cheeks gain the most beautiful scarlet color... And then you hear the worst combination of malfunctioning robotic noises, AND then sparks fly off of him. Might have to wait a few minutes until he comes back...

Boothill might look like he's calm outside, but he just FEELS the blue screen coming when things get too heated with no break whatsoever or too much fluids go past the protective metal plates. His body stops in place, is absolutely unresponsive, and his eyes flash blue.

Don't worry though, your Boothill has a restart button, right in the middle of his upper back, hidden by his half-vest (or.. whatever that is). He might overheat a little bit though, so be careful not to give yourself unnecessary burns.

In rare cases when his blue screens get REAL bad, you have to stick a USB drive he gave you in those special slots he has on the left side of his hips to bring him back.

Boothill most definitely does not sleep, but gets recharged by electricity or fuel instead. Perhaps that's the reason for the hole he has on his back? Either way, it gives you an opportunity to "plug him up", which he hates, despises even, to hear from you when he feels low on energy (he still wants a goodnight kiss btw).

Boothill swallows bullets. He also spits them out when needed.. usually, he's very careful not to spit them into your mouth when you kiss, but gravity betrays him on his worst days.

Boothill probably works like Siri or Alexa when battles leave him a bit too wounded. You might wonder about something, say it out loud, and then Boothill just can't stop reading the first thing that came up on Google.

"What's the best recipe for carrot cake?"

"2 cups (260g) all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking soda, ½ teaspoon fine sea salt—" Boothill gasps and covers his mouth, "1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon, 1 ¼ cups (295ml) vegetable oil, 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar—"

He just can't stop.
