Is it just me or is it so crazy that spy kids 2, a 2002 movie, presents the male lead ballet dancing without any jokes about it, and instead actively subverts the idea that a male character should be bothered by it? In fact he is even presented as cool, suave, and romantic for doing it.

I wasn’t around for 2002, I just feel like this is something that they would not normally do. I was born in 2003, and in my childhood I very much did not think of ballet as a thing I could just do as a boy, even with my mom saying it’s okay.

One day I had stumbled on a cabin in the woods, And there among the rotting boards, there was a door that stood. I opened it and walked inside, and there I could just tell, That the door was a portal into the deepest bowels of Hell. I met a lot of demons, my fears were all around, But then I met some people, a family I had found. One was the mightiest criminal all across the land, Another was a tiny king who made my life less bland. Soon I met some friends, they were strong but were outcasts, A plant witch and an illusionist who were constantly harassed. We had a few adventures, we had a lot of fun, and we soon forged a bond that could never be undone. Eventually I met a girl, the love of my whole life, We didn’t get along at first, but she would become my wife. We all fought with the Emperor, and saved his Golden Guard, We also helped my adopted mom reconnect with her favorite bard. But then came the Day of Unity, the fight for all our lives, And my friends and I stumbled on a bunch of twisted hives. We were then thrown back through the door, I lost my mom and bro, I cried for days and my friends realized my heartbreak began to grow. Then my real mom and my friends helped me get back through the door, But we had no idea the warped nightmares that we all had in store. Eventually I had found my adopted mom and brother, And together with a star child, we had stood against another. I died in battle against a monster, I crumbled into sod, And then I met up with an ancient and dead god. He gave me all his powers and brought me back to life. I had to go back and fight the monster and end that stupid lowlife. And then it was over, we won, the emperor was truly dead, burned away in boiling rain and stomped right through the head. After that, we lived in peace, and I was understood, And now I had two families and all the love I could. I am the Good Witch Luz, the hero of two realms, But now I just want to cuddle with Ams, because I am so very overwhelmed.
