Thinking about my childhood teachers constantly saying they "didn't care who started something, it just needs to stop" whenever they'd walk up on me defending myself against bullies.
It's pretty goddamn important who started it.
None of that was problem solving. The teachers were solving their own problem (annoying kids), while leaving us angrier and more confused.
It matters who started it. When you're reading the news these days, keep that in mind. Do your own research. It fucking matters who throws the first punch. Because anything done in retaliation is self defense.
Yeah that's about as "political" as I get. Don't get me started on people slapping the sticky name of politics on something to get people to ignore it while they get away with literal mordor. Some things transcend politics, but are labeled "politics" deliberately to make society shy away from it in what we've been told is "decent conversation". So it's never discussed openly and is allowed to continue to happen.

The reality is that while thousands, even millions, of people might enjoy our work every week, âenjoyâ doesnât necessarily translate to âsupportâ in any kind of literal, sustainable sense.
We donât get paid by Instagram or Twitter or any of the faceless platforms that we pour hours of our lives into. No passive income streams quietly flowing in while we sleep. Thereâs just... this. Us, making things we love, for you to enjoy, and the hope that some of youâjust a fewâmight feel moved to help keep the whole thing afloat.
This isnât a sob story. Itâs just a small reminder that artâany art, reallyâdoesnât materialize out of nothing. It comes from the hours and effort of real people who would love, in a perfect world, to keep creating without interruption. But the truth is, without Patreon or something like it, weâd be spending those hours doing other things. Uninspired things like manning a cash register or whatever else youâd imagine when you think of what happens to people who arenât lucky enough to⌠create.

I've been seeing this opinion floating so let me ask you? How is Tessa any worse than any other character?
This isn't directed to anyone specific or even the fandom as a whole. But I've seen a few people claim this means that her parents were good and justified for chaining/abusing her or worse that she deserved getting killed by Cyn.
First of all, how is a kid who was so dehumanized she only identified with robots treating a cemetery like a scrapyard more awful than any of the other character? Yes it's weird and macabre, but not malicious. She had NO intentions of harming anyone until it was clear everyone was in danger.
But lastly Murder Drones is a silly horror comedy and rarely takes itself too seriously. Injecting 100% realistic morality into this show is pointless at best and straight up pretentious at worst. Let the girl be silly, she's suffered enough.
Help a Friend Escape a Horrible Home
Hey there! I'm here to make a post on behalf of my good friend @mike-dragon!
A lot of you know I've talked about this and reblogged his posts many times. I have been trying to help Mike find a way to move away from his terribly abusive mother for about a year now to little avail. He has been unsuccessful in finding work and streaming is currently his only income. His posts seem to die as soon as they gain traction and to be frank, though we've had a few other kind donors, a grand majority of his goal has come from me alone doing what little I can to help.
Currently his goal is to have enough to find a place to rent and buy necessities as he continues to search for work. Getting away from his mother would be an ENOURMOUS boon to his mental health. If nothing else it could allow him just the time to recover some mental health away from an awful environment. Right now we've raised about $315/$2100 USD
I wish I had something more to offer in exchange for your help. I really do. I'm genuinely too burnt out to offer art to donors at this time, but at least I can help champion his cause. If you don't have the means to donate then please just spread this post. I know there's so many people asking for help for so many dire reasons, but Mike deserves help, too.

Bill said the prophecy had been billions of years in the making or something like that. If he had waited a few more centuries, he could've found himself someone less smart (but still kind of a genius) and way more naive than Ford who could've done the job with the help of more modern technology. Someone who wouldn't catch on to his plan. Someone he could manipulate into telling him how to undo the weirdness barrier too.
