This property has been going on for so long that it’s spawned 20ish continuities across three countries, but with so many choices, picking a place to begin can be a little overwhelming. The upside is that the shear variety of material means there’s a show or continuity out there for almost everyone.

Like action/superhero cartoons from the 90s/2000s?- Try Transformers Animated.

Want something aesthetically darker? Do you crave drama with more bad guy backstabbing and epic battles? - Start with Transformers Prime.

Are you into meme culture? Do you delight in continuity errors and strange logic leaps - G1 is the show for you

What about being nostalgic for 90s war/hero anime? Like the early Gundam series or the live action sentai shows - silliness and gravitas mashed together in awkward harmony - Check out Transformers Victory

If you are a furry with a open mind about early 90s Cgi animation and love strong characters - Beast Wars is a perfect fit
