it's about steve knowing how to play the piano, eddie having a lot of feelings about it and nancy being fine with that <3

here's a little snippet:

They walk over to the door, Eddie behind Nancy, because Nancy is the strong one, no doubt, and Eddie’s heart starts nervously beating faster. He has accepted that that’s just how it’s gonna be from now on. Living in a constant state of being alert. Being a little scared. Always expecting the worst.

The door is slightly ajar and Nancy just pushes it open a little wider.

Wide enough for them to see the scene playing out in front of them.

The room isn’t actually all that dark, with the almost full moon shining through the huge windows and bathing the furniture in soft silver light.

The furniture and…and Steve.

Because Steve-

Look, of course Eddie knew they had a piano. He practically almost lives here with the amount of nights he stays over, he’s seen it countless times.

Eddie just didn’t know Steve could play.

It never even occurred to him, the idea of Steve I Live For Athletics Harrington actually sitting down and taking his time to learn how to play an instrument.

But now, it just…

He’s sitting there, playing the piano. And it’s the most beautiful thing Eddie’s ever seen. Because Steve’s completely lost in it. His eyes are closed, he doesn’t notice them, his upper body gently swaying back and forth with the flow of the music. His fingers move fast and sure, not a single trace of doubt or even flaw, the way he plays is…it’s perfection.

Incorrect Steddie 8/?

The reason why Eddie kept failing English is because he wrote about all of Shakespeare’s characters being gay and Mrs. O’Donnell didn’t approve. 

In his first senior year, he wrote a really nice essay about it which she graded harshly because she was homophobic. By his third senior year, Eddie has given up and just writes whatever he feels like because he knows she'll fail him anyways.

“Hamlet and Macbeth? Fucking gay as hell,” Eddie writes for his third essay.

Steve thinks he's hilarious and that's why Eddie loves him.

(Mrs. O'Donnell gives him an A on his final paper just so he stops coming back. But a win's a win in his book and he finally fucking graduated!)

Look, I love the whole Robin and Eddie clocking each other thing but lately I’ve been thinking so much about what if Robin clocked Steve immediately?

Like imagine Steve setting foot into Scoops Ahoy on their first day together, in cuffed jeans and a light striped polo shirt, his hair carefully groomed, his lips so pink Robin isn’t sure for a second if she can actually rule out that he’s put on lipgloss, and she just takes one look at him and is like oh damn Steve Harrington is a raging bisexual how did I never notice?
