About the spelling:

Two years ago when I made this post about the initial name ideas, I translated アステル as “Astre” (”star” in French) because for some reason I thought these names were all French (which is actually nonsense because “Ángel” is Spanish, “Angelo” is Portuguese/Italian, and “Rain” is English, obviously xD). But now that I know these names aren’t necessarily French but pretty international, I think the right spelling could actually be “Aster” (”star” in Greek) because its pronunciation is closer to アステル (a-su-te-ru) than “Astre” ^^;

Researchers have used Easter Island Moai replicas to show how they might have been “walked” to where they are displayed.
