Guess what? Narumitsu Week is back for 2021, so get ready! From July 1st to July 7th, we’ll be celebrating this dynamic duo with all sorts of fanworks, each day with a different theme that explores all sorts of things that we love about them and their relationship.

(For those of you wanting and able to participate, we’ll also be having an NSFW Narumitsu week, with its own NSFW themes!. Info about that will be posted in on our NSFW twitter!)

On both Tumblr and Twitter, we’ll be reblogging/retweeting posts for that whole week that are tagged #nmweek21 – so make sure to use that tag while posting on either site in order to be boosted by us!

The themes for this year are listed below, along with little optional snippets to spark ideas!

Day 1: Chain/Locks

Chains and locks can be taken metaphorically and literally. In the anime, it’s shown that Phoenix and Miles are connected via a golden chain… a golden chain of destiny? Maybe this could be referring to psycholocks – I mean, Psyche-Locks. Ahem. Or perhaps, they’re literally chained together. Up to you!

Day 2: Rewind

Rewind …. Go back to a younger Phoenix and Miles, and see how their lives were before DL-6… or perhaps, in a world without DL-6. Or, take them further back in time into a Historical AU!

Day 3: Anniversary

7/3 is the offical Narumitsu Day. This is a day about their relationship, and appreciating how far they’ve come after so long.

Day 4: Value

Phoenix and Miles put a lot of faith and value into each other. What does this value mean to each other? How does this value change over time?

Day 5: Appearances

Appearances make a person, right? So what does Phoenix’s appearance tell Miles, and vice versa? Alternatively, how do they care about the way that appear to the public, either together or not?

Day 6: Teamwork

Phoenix and Miles work together multiple times over the course of the series. How do they work together… and how do they do it so well? Or perhaps, it takes a bit of teamwork to get them together…

Day 7: Seasons

How do Phoenix and Miles interact through the different seasons? As time passes and seasons change, how does their relationship evolve with it? What kinds of different dates can they have during different seasons – from a date in the snow to a date at the beach…?

We’re so looking forward to seeing what everyone makes for this year’s Narumitsu Week!
