Day 18: Explosion

As the report reaches the radio, "Bomb set, ready for detonation," the sense of exasperation filled the agent's body. He was eager to finish the job and return to his secluded life, free from the politics of the agency. Instead, all he received was a nagging voice from headquarters, ordering him to step away from the site.This was not the first time Agent Mole had been underestimated due to his disability. Being blind, he had to rely solely on his heightened senses to navigate the field. But he had proven time and time again that he could execute his missions with precision and ease. He was tired of the bureaucratic red tape and decided to take matters into his own hands.

With a flick of his cane, he overrode the original plan and pressed the button to start the detonations himself. The sound of the buzzing frequency filled his ears, but something wasn't quite right. It was much nearer than expected. He could hear the rumblings of the explosion getting louder and louder. With a thunderous roar, the bombs detonated, sending debris in every direction.

The force of the explosion was overwhelming. He was slammed to the ground, surrounded by a cloud of dust and debris. His vision was obscured, and he could feel the sting of debris hitting his fur and coat. His ears were ringing from the explosion, and he could taste the smoke and ash in the air. His heart raced with fear and terror as he realized that he had made an error - one to end his life.

He ached from the impact and was caught in the eye of the storm. As his heart ceased to beat, he let go of his consciousness, ready to accept the consequences of his actions while the flames insists to singe all his fur...
