i think exes to lovers might be one of my fav tropes and stories like these ALWAYS leave an imprint on me😭 this y/n was written so well– her dialogue , her personality , her inner conflict on taking him back , and ultimately her letting her walls down. along with jimin and his growth/character arc AAAAAAA it was too sweet🥺 although i love exes2l fics , i do get hesitant finding/reading them since a lootttttt of fics show the ex being straight up GARBAGE toxic and irredeemable🥴🥴😭. but if they are executed very well , just like this fic , then it perfectly shows the beauty of two people deserving each other's love for the second time. his growth and realizing his mistakes in the past along with his efforts in gaining her love back was shown so well all throughout this fic– whether in the fluff, humor, smut, or angst parts !!!!

Do you remember the last autumn that the two of you spent together—the sweltering weather fading, heat dwindling down to the chilly nights and cooler days, trees’ leaves changing into these beautiful shades of golds, reds, and browns, a constant reminder of the colors he dyes his hair. He’d laugh when you’d run your hands through those locks. “It’s dry,” you’d repeat constantly, “stop bleaching your hair so frequently,” but your fingertips don’t leave the strands of hair, rather still rake his scalp soothingly and lovingly.

The rustling and crinkling of the leaves underneath the soles of your shoes as the two of you walked side by side, fingers interlocking after a summer of shy glances and soft hellos, finally brushing away the feeling of uneasiness when you’d find the comfort in just his company alone.
