learning about a fandom only through snippets of stuff on the internet is fun.
like I don't really have any interest in watching the show/movie/reading the book/playing the game ect. but that's some really cute ship art you have there. have a little heart
especially cus it's a constant game with yourself of "is it canon, or is it fanon?" but you never will know the answer so you're never gonna know if so and so is actually childhood friends with other person or if the person making the art/writing the fanfiction is just wishful thinking
AND AUS OH MAN THEY CONFUSE THE SHIT OUT OF ME LIKE dude I already don't know what's going on and sometimes I just look at it like "excuse me what" until I realize "ohhhhh it's an au not actual plot"
in conclusion learning about a fandom from the scraps you get online is super fun and I would recommend it if you like making yourself want to cry /mj
