Ok, I have a weird Wings Of fire theory, Winter had more animus active genes than most dragons besides animus dragons, I personally think this because Winter is the only dragon we know of to feel animus magic, he felt that Pyrite had something to do with animus magic, it's strange how only Winter feels animus magic, but if he has like 99% of his animus genes active it would make a bit of since that he could feel animus magic.

Okay but Nautilus is described with spiral patterns, and Morrowseer has star patterns that are “curl inwards like a snail shell”, not to mention Nautilus is never shown with a wife, and so I propose:

I hate how there isn't a single good wings of fire fanfic. The only one I kinda liked was "The Dragonets aren't coming" on fanfic.net and that one hasn't been updated in forever 😭
