Robocar Poli Headcanons+ My Concept Art

(Ok, let's ignore the fact that I disappear for God knows how long)

Robocars are way heavier than the average cars

The series has some moments that work against this theory like the moment we saw in the trailer for the season 5 (God where do I watch it). I came up with this headcanons due to the fact that the Rescue Team are transformers, so when they are in their "car form" their "bodies" hide arms and legs, which also are full of different power tools.

So in my opinion Roy is the heaviest while Helly is the least

There's no "Keep It Simple"

As I mentioned before, robocars are heavy and can carry lots of tools with them, which means that their design should be... pretty complex

Due to this problem robocars are made of way thicker and stronger metals so they don't get easily damaged, yet once that happens it can be harder to fix. For example, if a robocar loses his arm he won't be able transform back ( or at least it will be a hard and dangerous thing to do ) for their arm is also is a part of their body. In "Helly's wish" when Helly lost his propeller he wasn't able to transform at all.
