Another Wonderful AU Comic I'm Following Is The Runaways AU By @qed221b, Inspired By The AU Of The Same

Another wonderful AU comic I'm following is the Runaways AU by @qed221b, inspired by the AU of the same name by @hey-hamlett. Guys, this comic is so well done... The pacing alone makes you want to keep reading. The characterization is perfection. The art style is clean and dynamic, and the use of color and angles helps further the plot.

And that's another thing. This plot could have been done before, but in this instance it definitely is new. I want to see more of Aizawa and Yamada's history (because the flashes we've already seen are heartbreaking), and how they've used that past to become the amazing, honorable people they are today. And I haven't even mentioned the rest of the characters they meet! They meet the 1-A kids so organically, it's not forced (and they're so frickin' cute!). I love Aizawa and Yamada's easy, comfortable relationship with each other, how trusting they are in the other's feelings and choices.

Okay, one quick fan girl moment -- indulge me. In the 8th chapter (?) in the middle where someone reached for Aizawa's wrist, his reaction, the wide eyes and fearful expression, the way he yanked his hand away saying "do not touch me" so stiltingly. Ugh! As much as I'd like to know his background and who the heck hurt my guy, I admit I was grinning like an idiot. Amazing, wonderful job, @qed221b!

Read this! You will not be disappointed!

Part 1 of ? - Runaways AU

Inspired by @hey-hamlett’s Runaways AU post, where Class 1-A (along with Aizawa and Hizashi) bit by bit piece a family together for themselves. I meant to just do a sketch dump or something for it…. But I think I may have gotten a tad carried away.

How I feel as a Horn player sitting directly in front of the trumpets in rehearsal...

Please do this! It's a win all around! I've never used Audible before, so if you're in the same boat, this is a wonderful way to introduce yourself to the medium. Free 30-day trial, free codes with great recommendations, plus the fact that the narrators still get paid for their outstanding voice work (seriously, how do they do it?). I'm so excited for "The Worldship Humility" when it's released at the end of the month, and for "Play of Light" in the meantime! Thank you, @merlins-earmuffs!

FREE GIVEAWAY for Colin Morgan’s audiobook!

If you want to pre-order Colin Morgan’s audiobook FOR FREE, please message me or reply to this post!

I am a professional audiobook narrator (here are my books on Audible) and have a bunch of promo codes to give away.

I want to give back to the Merlin fandom because it is because of this fandom that I now have a side job that I love: audiobook narration. I am known as bravenclawesome on AO3 and narrated podfics (audiobooks, but for fanfiction) for many years, and the support from the fandom propelled me to do this professionally.

Merthur, yes. But did you also mean EraserMic? (Feel free to add a pic or gif. I couldn't choose and I'm worried I'll credit someone wrong...)

One thing I enjoy about “opposites attract” kind of lovers is when the two are superficially different but share the same morals/values under it all, but the process of discovering that is a slow one and hampered by the fact that they have to learn each other’s language, so to speak. They both have very different ways of communicating and showing trust and affection, so like the angsty brooding character is suspicious of the bubbly character’s care because they believe it’s insincere, while the bubbly character doesn’t notice the angsty one’s subtle but significant gestures and instead takes their cold demeanour at face value. Then slowly, slowly on their journey together they learn how the other one speaks, and copy each other’s mannerisms, etc, and come to understand their values and how they really feel, like all this is a mouthful to explain but that is *chef kisses fingers* my fucking jam babey

I think they'd be besties...

-cool Aloof Mysterious Dude Who Just Wants A Nap-very Strong Ethics, Angsty Background -would Happily

-cool aloof mysterious dude who just wants a nap -very strong ethics, angsty background -would happily expel students who don’t live up to his expectations -would also die for his students and proven it -really powerful but sometimes forgotten in the face of more well-known names -takes fav student under his wing, teaches them his secret technique -stole my heart

which one am I describing ??

I Saw This Picture On Some Random Google Search About French Horns. They Were Saying That They Used This

I saw this picture on some random Google search about French Horns. They were saying that they used this to explain playing the Horn to a pianist. So true! When you can play almost a whole scale using only one fingering, you know your instrument has issues.
