More Posts from Vaguelygenius
I am seriously so happy with this, y'all don't even KNOW! How did Magpied Spider know that I headcanoned Ryou and Kaiba's dynamic to be exactly like that???? WITCHCRAFT!
I am so pleased that I could just roll around on the floor, as illogical and highly ridiculous that would be. SO HAPPY!! I want to print this out and post this on my wall!!
Bennu by Magpied_Spider for VaguelyGenius!
In Which Yami Bakura and The Ancient Pharaoh Atem Return From Beyond The Grave Due To The Misapplication Of Necromancy By Some Teenagers. “If we get caught,” Mo cautioned, later, as they climbed down in the dark to where the archaeological digs were located, “We’ll be kicked out of school faster than you can say “I summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon!””
Tags
Characters: Bakura Ryou, Malik Ishtar, Yami Bakura, Mutou Yuugi, Yami Yuugi, Pharaoh Atem, Kaiba Seto, Rishid Ishtar | Odion Ishtar Pairings: None Rating: T Other: i’m conflating yami yuugi with memories and pharaoh atem, help this is way longer than it was meant to be, title is sucky and trite but eh, card games in ancient egypt
Recommendation!
This is the second longest fill for YGOME, and is a thoroughly enjoyable piece, not least because Magpied_Spider has a thorough understanding of how to use humour, without making it centerstage. I really enjoyed the dialogue in this piece, but my favourite part has to be the dynamic between Ryou and Seto. At the end I found myself wanting to see more of everything, and I think any piece that has you salivating for a continuation is probably a damn good one. Definitely one of the better ‘own body’ pieces I’ve read, although can we agree Kaiba Corp has some interesting projects.
Also snapchat!

Ahhhhh, thank you! <3

I haven’t quite gathered all seven Millennium Items yet, but I’ve got five down, one in the mail, and one in the works!
These are all 3D-printed models of my own design, and they’re actually all available for sale at my Shapeways shop!
Check out all the details and how to get a nice gold shine on them at my Millennium Items page~
BONUS: The Millennium Items page includes a fully rotatable 3D model viewer, so you can see before you buy AND you can draw the Millennium Items from any crazy angle you desire! (Plus they’re really glittery and shiny and I am very pleased by the effect, oooooh)

I 3D-printed the first prototype of the Millennium Ring back in early 2013, so collecting the Items has taken me around two years. Not bad at all!
Find out more at my Millennium Items page, where you can see cool rotatable 3D models and find out how to paint your own Items!
You can always buy your own Millennium Items at my Shapeways shop, and they'll ship it to you even if you live in Antartica! (8
Ahhh, they look gorgeous! You did a great job painting the Rings! I’m glad you like them! (8

Painting the Millennium items
Last week I got my order from Shapeways. I started painting the items a day later. Here are some phot’s of how they were when I got them, how I painted them and the finished results.
I haven’t made photo’s of the mini millennium puzzles yet, I’ll get to that later on this week. Overal I’m happy with how everything turned out, and am glad I choose to handpaint them.
For anyone who’s interested, I got these lovely items from Shapeways, from a seller named vaguelygenius. Who took the time to model the items in a 3d program and let them be printed. How cool is that?
This was fun to do, and I'm glad you like it! And Mood Ring OMG that's beautiful. All it needs to do is change colors too, haha.

This was a bit of a last minute gift for one of my favorite Bakura blogs, but here is a render of my attempt at a DHB!Millennium Ring.
This Ring is probably my favorite DBH character, because it’s expressions make me laugh every time!
Solidworks made it transparent without my permission, so now this Ring can look vaguely alarmed by your dash! B)
Oh man! It’s so cool to see the Mood Ring with personality in 3D!! Ha, ha! It’s great that there’s someone to love it as a favorite. It’s mostly going to be in serious face mode for the next part of the story since it and S.Bakura are in trouble! But once that’s over there’ll be time to relax again. Guys, vaguelygenius makes neato 3D Millennium Item models and then makes them available on ShapeWays! If you’re in the market for cosplay props, totally check it out.
