Hey! So You Might Not Remember But I Messaged In A While Ago About My Partner And I Wanting To Introduce
Hey! So you might not remember but i messaged in a while ago about my partner and i wanting to introduce our astartes (my sons and their black legion) - well, figured I'd share an update! Our boys have settled together amazingly, it was a bit rocky at the start but we worked through it and now they're sparring and resting together nonstop, i stg the first time I saw the Legionnaire help a Son adjust their footing and hold on his weapon (he was sharing!! ;;) i teared up, i still do just remembering it. my partner and i have unfortunately split since but due to the circumstances and how strongly our astartes have bonded, we agreed that the Legionnaire would stay with me and my Sons. the big guy handled it so well and im so proud of how my Sons helped him through that period of change, its almost silly looking back at how anxious I was because now I can't picture our lives without that big, darling lug
Good to hear from you and sorry that you and your partner split. However, great call keeping your Astartes together! Astartes are pack creatures, and splitting them up can cause a number of adverse side effects. Sons of Horus and Black Legionnaires form particularly strong personal bonds, and the last thing you want to deal with is a heartbroken space marine! I've had to rehabilitate and rehome a number of marines with behavioral issues due to situations like what you just mentioned!
Anyway, if you and your partner are on civil terms, it would be a good idea to let your big guy see his old commanding officer once and a while! Let me know if there are any other issues, but this seems to have gone as well as it possibly could!

Right? Gimp is great for photo manipulation, but I find its wonderful to have two different suites of tools for two different artistic mediums. The learning curve is there, but it's not as steep as I thought it would be
In the process of switching to Linux so I can't use photoshop and I was wondering why Krita is such a well kept secret? Maybe it's just come a long way over the years, but its kind of the tits?
It's really streamlined and super powerful, not to mention it's open source, free, and wicked easy to install. If yall are sick of Photoshop training it's dumbass AI, I think Krita is worth considering as an alternative. It's dynamic and focused on artists, and the workspace is easy to get used to.
It's rough out there for artists rn, but the Open Source community seems to have our asses covered
But you see. I'm protecting myself into the man. I want big arms. I want to hold Woman Gently Like Hamburger
genuinely so tired of the male love interest in every m/f romance being the most hugelarge tallman to ever growth spurt. I need to see some women swooning over little five foot five rat dudes who need to be tucked in their gf's pocket lest they blow away like a napkin in the wind.
We still doing Space marine pets?
Always! I'm a trained and certified Astarteskeeper, and like I always say: "There are no bad Space Marines, just bad handlers!"

I loved this scene, so I sketched it with 40kRenegade
Yeah so I got this big golden one, she has this cool spear, she won’t talk or tell me what he is though. Could I have some help identifying her?
You're familiar with the Cat Distribution System? The same thing applies to Astartes--and in this case, their cousins!
You found a Custodian! These are an incredibly treasured breed and their pedigree is nothing short of custom! I see fewer Custodians than Noise Marines, and if you've been following for a while, you know how elusive our beloved Kakophonii are!
Unfortunately, your visitor may not be able to stay long! Custodians are rarely strays, so they are likely there on some sort of mission! However, if they DO stick around, you have found a companion for life. They're low maintenance, incredibly loyal, and their profile excels in every field from sentry duty to frontline coordination! Simply make sure they have plenty of training ground and a well balanced diet (some handlers say the secret is an additional Omega-3 supplement twice a day, but you didn't hear that from me! ;)
