SigMoira Headcanons

Since I’m probably turning this into a writing blog, I though I might as well post these. I’m insecure about my writing so be nice please!

• Moira was originally only interested in Siebren because of his state and what he had experienced. She soon learned that under his instability, he was a very pleasant man that made for enjoyable company.

• This escalated into them talking outside of Siebren’s daily checkups. She would visit him whenever she had free time.

• While a lot of people are afraid of Siebren and his abilities, Moira never was.

• She was very impressed when she was presented with someone taller than her.

• Moira quickly turned into Siebren’s safe space.

• Moira fell for his flattery. Siebren would make small flirtations, telling her she looked nice today or complimenting a new lab coat. It soon became him rambling to her about how he thought the freckles that dusted her face reminded him of constellations or that her eyes looked like galaxies.

• “The universe is singing today... but it’s different. Today, it’s singing your name!”

• That’s when Moira realized she was head-over-heels in love with him.

• Moira can play the piano very well. They spend a lot of time trying to recreate his melody.

• They have long, educated talks about their respective professions. Though Siebren doesn’t know much about genetic science and Moira doesn’t know much about astrophysics, they still enjoy listening to each other go on about their passions.

• Even though Siebren is supposed to be in solitary confinement 24 hours a day, Moira will take him into her lab so they can do research together.

• He has adopted several of Moira’s lab rabbits. He refuses to let her experiment on them anymore, and reluctantly, she agreed. They love him very much.

• He refers to said rabbits as their children.

• Moira will still study him, but he doesn’t mind. She will not run any type of experiment on him unless it’s absolutely necessary.

• She knows her way around his breakdowns, how to calm his mind, ease the pain, even help him get some sleep. Though when his meltdowns are particularly bad or dangerous, there’s hardly anything she can do. She looks unbothered but feels very guilty that she can’t help.

• Their moments together are very sweet and intimate. Touching foreheads, nose boops, brushing lips. Siebren enjoys cupping Moira’s face and running his thumb over her cheekbone.

• There’s also a LOT of Siebren pulling on Moira’s tie to either kiss her or get her attention.

• They are both very verbally affectionate. They have pet names for each other in their native languages.

• Slow dancing to classical music is a nightly routine.

• Siebren likes to make constellations out of Moira’s freckles.

• Siebren will make gifts to give to Moira. Most of them are small models of their rabbits crafted from stone. She keeps all of them on her desk.

• Moira once gave Siebren a pair of fluffy blue socks. He wears them a lot.

• Zero gravity cuddles, anyone?

• Siebren will hold Moira on top of him when he’s floating around. She won’t fall asleep on top of him, however, because it makes her feel weak and vulnerable.

• Siebren sleeps best when he can feel or hear Moira’s heartbeat. It drowns out the whispers in his mind and reminds him that he is real and everything around him is real.

• He won’t submit to her in any way, though. It brings back bad memories.

• Siebren has told other Talon scientists how much he loves his Moira and how badly he wants to marry her someday.

• She would definitely have to propose to him though. Eventually she will.

• Siebren is the only person who has ever seen Moira cry. It was fueled by frustration and a lack of sleep, but it still happened.

Pfft, even the big unsinkable ships are welcome in Commodore Myriad’s armada. Besides, Heavy is my enormous child and I love him dearly.

who cooks normally?: Heavy, Medic doesn’t operate on a normal meals timetable. But when he does make arrangements to cook, it’s always something traditionally German, done perfectly.

how often do they fight?: Pretty often, but they’re fast, heated things that fire up quickly and are over just as quickly. They sound terrifying though.

what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Medic buries himself in work to make the time go faster and Heavy writes him long, thoughtful letters in Russian that he’ll save and read to him when they’re together again.

nicknames for each other?: So many. Heavy’s nicknames for Medic are often obscure Russian literary references. Medic’s nicknames for Heavy sound less cutesy because they’re in German, but they’re really cutesy.

who is more likely to pay for dinner?: They both like treating each other, so it depends entirely upon who asks the other to dinner first.

who steals the covers at night?: Neither, Medic is a restless sleeper, but try as he might, he’s not getting any covers out from under Heavy once he’s asleep, and Heavy doesn’t move much.

what would they get each other for gifts?: Heavy gets Medic interesting books about arcane medical procedures and bestiaries, Medic’s gifts are all over the place between exquisite little sculptures and boxers with bullet patterns but it doesn’t matter because it’s always something that made Medic think of Heavy.

who remembers things?: Heavy, sometimes it seems like Medic lives to an entirely different calendar than the rest of the world.

who cusses more?: Medic, sometimes in German but not always. Later he adds a few choice Russian curses too.

what would they do if the other one was hurt?: Um well. Medic knows Heavy can take a lot of punishment, he’ll heal Heavy as they go. Heavy will make sure Medic is somewhere out of the way and then go fill the enemy with bullets, in a cold methodical rage.

who kissed who first?: Medic, in a moment that surprised both of them when he hadn’t been certain Heavy would make it through, despite knowing perfectly well that Respawn would take care of it.

who made the first move?: Heavy, after thinking about it for a long time after that, so long Medic assumed Heavy had opted to pretend it had never happened.

who started the relationship?: It spontaneously appeared as soon as both of them realized how they felt, which took much longer than the rest of the mercs had thought it would. One day they were colleagues, the next day they were an old married couple.

Ana: I think I’m gonna have to limit Jack’s time with that Song girl

Ana: All she does is teach him how to use new pop culture phrases, it’s-
