writing storylines for my groups but also wanting the storylines to all be connected but they all have crazy different concepts… :/

so I kind of have this oc country I made and I can't decide if I wanna make one of my muses from there. I originally had her from there && was gonna charge it and just have a whole section dedicated to explaining the world, but I also dunno if it would make any sense to combine cause it's sort of an au + like the new country??? it's a thing I created when I was obsessed with this show called sense8 💀 ( which was WRONGFULLY cancelled, if u ask me ) anyways ignore my rambling

the way i just write whatever tf i want and do what i want in my stories will always astound me- like tf u mean i had a power rangers phase resurge ( that used to be my SHIT when i was younger ) a couple weeks ago and wrote a whole ass story using k-pop idols as the fcs for the story and actually addressed every flaw and or issue i had with the concept of power rangers as a kid??? what do u mean i’ve been writing since i was in elementary school and have been creating muses/characters to embody the parts of me i adore and a dealing with the shit i’d rather not personally?? i write stories like i’m 12 years old again and 12 year old me is fkn gassed and that’s all that matters :>

like writing is so therapeutic people don’t understand- like that sometimes my writing sucks but that’s okay because it’s the only way i can see through the cloud emotion i’m feeling at the time and once the cloud is gone all that’s left are the words on the paper and what you’re gonna do with em

Do yourself a favor and just write everything out of order. That's legit what's stopping me from updating my WIPs because the back of my head is demanding it has to be consecutively written in order or else it won't make sense.

....which is kind of dumb because when I came up with the plotlines they were from scenes right in the middle lol

VAL / VEE … 20 , any prns , pansexual , black , been writing for years and still high-key suck at getting my thoughts/ideas out of my head , a mess of unfinished thoughts , way too many muses/ocs and worlds to count so don’t be surprised if i post new characters everyday , really into theatre and the arts so you might see that play into my works , absolutely downright diabolical exec. dysfunction ( + school & work ) so i might just go mia for a few weeks at a time unfortunately , but writing is a passion of mine so i’ll always be back

why you should keep writing your story

because it’s a puzzle no one else will ever arrange the same way as you.

because there are ideas that simply won’t come to you until you write down the wrong words.

because all the bad scenes are the bones of the wonderful scenes.

because someone will love it: someone will read it once, and twice, and thrice; someone will ramble to you about the complexity of it; someone will doodle your characters out of love; someone will find it in exactly what they were looking for with or without knowing it.

because they have things to say, your characters. they’ve told you all those secrets and they have more to tell you, if you will listen.

because you love it even when you don’t; even when it drives you mad or when it accidentally turns into apathy; even when you think you’re doing it all wrong; you love it, and it loves you back.

because you can get a treasure even from things that go wrong; because if a story crumbles down you can build a shinier one on the same spot; because you won’t know where it will take you until it takes you there.

now that im thinking about it. hannibal should have let abigail become the chesapeake ripper in season two. because who's gonna believe you saw a dead girl with the victim before they disappeared? if you saw her at the scene of the crime around the time of death? who's gonna try to reach out and ask for her alibi? rip to hannibal lecter and his need for absolute control but I would have let my murder daughter in on the plan so i could have tested her loyalty to me and make the fbi less suspicious of me as a suspect

Maybe an obvious reminder but you don't have to feel guilty when you don't have anything to offer to your Deities in return for help.

In the same way you don't have to repay someone for doing you a favor out of their heart's desire - and don't have to feel bad if you cannot return their kindness with an equal gift back. People - and Deities - that love you understand when giving back is hard or impossible for you.

Sometimes a thank you is enough. Gratitude is enough, in whatever shape and form you can give it.

It's not transactional, it's set in mutual kindness and respect.

wills sudden shift into honey trap mode complete with the hair cut and dressing up makes me think he’s always been aware he’s attractive...it would make sense that he can tell with his empathy when people are attracted to him and it’s easy to imagine that it’s something that made him uncomfortable and that he felt the need to cover up with scruffiness and prickliness as seen on s1

It’s interesting in general to consider how much wills empathy clues him into what people want from him and how much he uses that for his purposes. He knows chilton wants respect and refuses to use his title, calling him only his first name while he knows hannibal wants intimacy from him and refuses to call him anything other than ‘dr. lecter’. It’s something that makes him such a fisherman! And also something that gives him a lot of capacity for cruelty, since he knows exactly where to hit you so it hurts - as bedelia says in s3 “extreme acts of cruelty require a high degree of empathy”

one of my favorite feelings is starting a new show and having that: ….are they…having gay… sexual tension?? And then logging onto tumblr dot com and seeing gifsets that show several thousand other people also agree that it was, indeed, gay sexual tension
