Happy birthday Sun Chien!!
He was born today in Taiwan on December 5, 1955. He became an expert in taekwondo and soon became one of director Chang Cheh's favorite actors. He was a valuable member of the Venom Mob with a dazzling personality! Not to mention his beautiful kicking skills. He is incredible.
I’m just going to launch straight into a piece of information that I found interesting for this post:
Lu Feng was discussing his time at the opera school during one interview. He said that they were up to start the day at 5 a.m. and the first class began at 5:30. He would learn things like somersaults, which he thought was hard at first, but that training was something that helped him immensely in his career. Breakfast was finished by 7:30, which is when he began to learn about weapons like knives, guns, swords, fei cha, and many more. They would have regular academic studies and classes during the afternoon and night! For 9 years, they continued to do that routine, but the last 2 years were reserved for stage performances!
