This account is dedicated to the Venom Mob. I post edits, gifs, photos, and information about the Venoms lives in addition to things about their film and tv work! I do a lot of research on the Venoms to find my content so I hope to share plenty of new photos and facts.

I like making video edits, so I decided to make some gifs out of effects that I was trying out! These are what each of them say:

Kuo Chui ( 郭追 )

Born in Taiwan (生於台灣)

Born on October 21, 1951

I might make these for the other Venoms if you all like them!

I feel like this scene isn't talked about enough. Invincible Shaolin was always a Venoms film that had a very impactful ending for me. It was so sad, and I really think all of the actors portrayed the heartbreak very well. It genuinely made me tear up the first few times I saw it. I wanted to appreciate how Kara Hui, Niu Niu, and Yau Chui-Ling reacted to each of the characters' deaths, as they were their husbands. Each was a bit different, but you could still see that they were all upset to various degrees. In my opinion, Sun Chien, Lu Feng, and Chiang Sheng also did a really good job of staying true to each of their characters' personalities. Their final moments were just so upsetting. Especially when all the wives ran to them :(

I’m here to talk about Sun Chien’s acting. Sometimes I think I forget that Chinatown Kid was his first movie (by all accounts of the various sources I have). So, tonight I was sitting down to really take a look at his performance. I think it’s really worth keeping in mind when you watch the film because it genuinely makes his performance so much more impressive. He was able to display such a wide array of emotions throughout the whole movie. Sometimes he changed his emotions multiple times in one scene. You can really see how raw and accurate it is, especially when he gets angry. Sun Chien doesn’t really sugarcoat it or downplay it because, to me, he does display what anger can really look like at times. Even when he’s upset, the pain reflects on his face and in his eyes. The character really is like an actual person with struggles and complex emotions. I personally think it’s one of his best performances overall. That is why I decided to make these gifs!
