Ramadan is coming up and I can’t stress enough how much Palestinians have never got the chance to experience one normal Ramadan for 75years

You may not have been subjected to this, but as a person from an Arabic country, every Ramadan from every year there’s always headlines of Israeli iof soldiers or Israeli extremist settlers attacking Palestinians during Ramadan, especially Palestinian worshipers trying to pray in the al aqsa mosque

It’s happens almost every single year

Ramadan is suppoused to be Muslim people’s month of worship, of Baraka and it is very important to Muslim people

But Palestinians never ever experienced a normal Ramadan because Israel attacks them Viciously

Almost

Every

Single

Fucking

Year

And I will dare and say that Israel does it on purpose, it does it every Ramadan on purpose

And now, this year, with Ramadan being only a few weeks away, I doubt that they’ll have a normal Ramadan, not in the West Bank, and not in Gaza

All what I have to say here is that Israel will still follow this trend, something bad is gonna happen this Ramadan, keep an eye on Palestine during Ramadan

Dear black readers,

Don’t be afraid to write that fanfic . Regardless of the film, celebrity, book, show, character, sexuality, genre, or whether you think it's good or not write it! There isn't nearly enough fan fiction for us to appreciate or relate to as it is. We’re just as important as any other reader and if the fandom claims that the character would never be interested in a black person, and?! How the hell they know? There's a reason it’s called fan fiction... Don't be ashamed to write it because you fear nobody will read it, they will. It's important, in my opinion, that black readers be able to visualize themselves in the book. So write the story! 🫶🏾

Video Nasties Was A Colloquial Term Coined In The United Kingdom By 1982 Which Originally Applied To

video nasties was a colloquial term coined in the united kingdom by 1982 which originally applied to a number of films distributed on video cassette that were criticized for their violent content by the press, commentators such as mary whitehouse, and various religious organizations.

while violence in films released to cinemas had received attention from an official body, the british board of film censorship, for many years, the lack of a regulatory system for video sales combined with the claim that any film could fall into children’s hands led to public debate. many of these “video nasties” were low-budget horror films produced in italy and the united states. the furore created by the response to video nasties led to the introduction of the video recordings act 1984 which imposed a stricter code of censorship on videos than was required for cinema release. several major studio productions ended up being banned on video, falling within the scope of legislation designed to control the distribution of video nasties. due to a legislative mistake discovered in august 2009, the video recordings act 1984 was repealed and re-enacted without change by the video recordings act 2010.

Stop being so worried about if a man will love you. Do you love yourself? I know it's natural to want to a partner and i'm NOT shaming you for that but a line needs to be drawn.

When was the last time you looked yourself in the mirror and said "I love you"? Truly give yourself the love you desire, like become OBSESSED with yourself.

Stop Being So Worried About If A Man Will Love You. Do You Love Yourself? I Know It's Natural To Want

Be obsessed with the current you. Not the you after you lose 30 pounds. Not the you after you graduate. Not the you after you get the dream job. Not the you after you move to a new city. STOP training yourself for conditional love...

The current you deserves and NEEDS you to become obsessed and give her unconditional love! You set the standards for how others love you and you cannot let others to love you conditionally.

You are worth unconditional love.

Idk who needs to hear this, but it’s okay to look bad when you look bad. Even on purpose. Letting yourself be ugly sometimes frees you up to enjoy other things, & only weeds out shallow people that probably don’t have your best interests in mind. Physical beauty is not a prerequisite for love or value. Give yourself permission to be human, to be wild, to be gross, amen.

weekly self care & reset routine 🧺

self care ♡

my main concern on my reset day is Me. it’s all about me, so i act accordingly. i start by making sure i’m hydrated throughout the day, have taken my vitamins and i prioritize eating three balanced meals.

Weekly Self Care & Reset Routine
Weekly Self Care & Reset Routine
Weekly Self Care & Reset Routine

rest days are also my wash days! (y’all already know what i’m talking about). washing my hair takes a good bit of the day, roughly 3-4 hours, but i multitask while deep conditioning so it’s cool. i take the extra step and do a hair mask and scalp treatment; i feel like pampering my hair is such good therapy bc i always feel 10x better knowing my hair is clean, detangled and nourished <3

Weekly Self Care & Reset Routine
Weekly Self Care & Reset Routine

this is usually near the end of the day but i love to end the week with a hot bath, and i pull out all the stops for this one too. bubble bath, epsom salts, a candle or incense burning, i even bring my laptop to watch netflix! there’s nothing better than soaking away all the stress i’ve built up over the week and i always sleep like a baby afterwards.

another part of that is doing my full skincare routine (basically doing my regular routine but this time there’s a sheet mask pfft) i usually run my bath while double cleansing and toning and then soak while my mask is doing its thing.

Weekly Self Care & Reset Routine

reset ♡

throughout the day i’ll complete my several chores that need to get done (it’s all cleaning). i’ll do my laundry, clean my bathroom and tidy up my bedroom, take care of my pets and prepare my clothes for work.

Weekly Self Care & Reset Routine

although it’s a lot to do in one day, feeling well rested and recharged is the overall goal so i take breaks in between tasks and end the day by winding down early and going to bed on time <3

as always,

thanks for reading 🤍

what if i dont want to wear make up to look better.. i dont want to spend the rest of my life curling my eyelashes and putting on highlighter every day.

Hey there! It's totally understandable if you don't wanna wear makeup and spend a lot of time just to look a bit better. Here's a little something for you:

What If I Dont Want To Wear Make Up To Look Better.. I Dont Want To Spend The Rest Of My Life Curling
What If I Dont Want To Wear Make Up To Look Better.. I Dont Want To Spend The Rest Of My Life Curling
What If I Dont Want To Wear Make Up To Look Better.. I Dont Want To Spend The Rest Of My Life Curling

How to instantly look better without makeup ⋆˚✿˖°

Although makeup can help elevate a look, the singular thing that I believe can make the greatest difference to your appearance actually has nothing to do with makeup.

If there is one thing that would instantly improve anyone's looks, it would be becoming more confident. Confidence is key when it comes to looking your best. It can make all the difference in how you carry yourself and how others perceive you. When you're confident, you radiate a positive energy that can be contagious.

On the other hand, if you're not feeling confident, it can show in your body language and the way you present yourself. Even if you're wearing the latest fashion trends or have flawless makeup, if you're not feeling confident, it can detract from your overall look.

While building genuine confidence is always the best approach, I know that building confidence isn't always easy. But you know what they say: fake it till you make it! Here's a few things you can do to appear more confident. I promise these'll change how others perceive you drastically (in the best way possible).

Pay attention to your posture: Standing up straight can make a big difference in how you look and feel.

Smile: Studies have shown that smiling increases socially perceived attractiveness and is considered a signal of trustworthiness and intelligence.

Make eye contact: In general, appropriate eye contact can make you seem more confident, likable, attractive, trustworthy, attentive, and memorable.

Dress for success: Wearing clothes that make you feel good about yourself can help boost your confidence.

Aside from appearing more confident, here are also a few other things that can improve your appearance in a cinch.

Get enough sleep: Getting enough sleep is essential for looking and feeling your best. Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep each night to wake up feeling refreshed and energized.

Take care of your skin: A healthy, glowing complexion is always in style. Develop a skincare routine that works for you and stick to it. It doesn't have to be anything complicated. Using cleanser, moisturiser and SPF in the morning, and just cleanser and moisturiser at night already does wonders.

Maintain a neat appearance: Greasy hair and crumpled clothes will never look good on anyone. Make sure to practice good personal hygiene.

Wear clothes that fit well: Clothes that fit well can flatter your figure and make you feel confident. Avoid clothes that are too tight or too loose.

Find a signature scent: A large body of research now shows that the presence of odour can indeed influence someone's perception of your attractiveness.

Hope this helps! xx

SKINCARE HOLY GRAILS

SKINCARE HOLY GRAILS
SKINCARE HOLY GRAILS

So today's post is something a bit different than my usual. If I'm not reading and exploring astrology, I'm wrapped up in my robe doing my skincare. I've had a tough year with many breakouts, even though I've never had problems before. After many trials and errors I've come to make the routine that has helped my skin tremendously! I still do battle some hormonal breakouts and dark spots, but they are fading away as we speak. So today I'm sharing some tips and tricks, holy grails and routines that helped my skin flourish!

❕I want to add a disclaimer that I am by no means a cosmetologist nor dermatologist. If you can, I highly advise you to visit a dermatologist to help out in the skin department.

With that being said I'll firstly talk about a routine called SKIN CYCLING before we get into the products.

🤍Skin cycling is a process where you literally "cycle" products so you don't breakout. This is also an amazing tactic if you're adding a new product to your routine. My skin is highly reactive and sensitive, so by just putting something with a new ingredient on my face everyday, it will cause severe purging or even breakouts. I've had this happend when using salicylic acid. I would read how it's good to purge and waited a month and the breakouts kept coming. It was painful and ugly. So I decided to skin cycle and I've never had a problem with salicylic acid ever again.

My cycle consists of 4 days:

1. Normal skincare

2. Normal skincare

3. Exfoliation night

4. Recovery night

You go back and forth with your exfoliation and recovery nights and normal skincare. I find that by doing this my skin is never dry, patchy or iritated. For each of these days I have different moisturizers.

I would firstly recommend if you're starting off to just find an amazing cleanser, moisturizer and spf cream. Later you can add on, experiment with serums, retinols etc... If you have a damaged skin barrier be sure to stick to soothing cleansers and moisturizers. Don't beat your face, it will not be forgiving...trust me.

🤍Some of my tips&tricks I've learned over the years:

▫️Do your night routine atleast an hour before going to bed, so the products doesn't just end up on your sheets.

▫️Change your bed sheets every 5-7 days, I change every 5 days, but a week is totally fine.

▫️Stop touching your face after touching your hair. Your hair has many natural oils and putting it on your face afterwards can cause a breakout.

▫️Double cleansing is a must in the nighttime routine, especially if you wear makeup or work in a dusty environment.

▫️Really learn about your skin before getting into skincare, you have to know  what you're dealing with. This is the biggest tip I have. The more you know your skin, the better products you'll find for your it.

▫️I know this is a classic one, but diet is really important. Even though I'm not that sensitive to this, I know many are. Dairy, fatty foods, fast food, snacks, soda, sugar and alcohol can have a huge impact how your skin treats you. By all means this DOESN'T mean you can't eat anything. Cut one out and bring it back to see if there's any change. For me I eat sugar only on special events and I watch out with my alcohol intake.

▫️Put different moisturisers on different parts of your face. In my nighttime routine I have two moisturizers one that I put on my oily parts and the other that I put on my really sensitive and reactive parts. This one is a personal tip and it helped me a lot. Since my cheeks are so dry I can't use the same moisturiser on my cheeks and my chin ,my chin is very oily, has whiteheads  and is prone to a lot of breakouts. My chin can take stronger ingredients and even fragrance, but my cheek area is strictly for soothing creams with no perfume whatsoever.

🤍HOLY GRAILS

So I'll put the products into 4 sections, because I use them separately.

1. Morning Holy Grails

🤍 The Holika Holika Aloe Cleansing Foam

This product is the one I repurchase every month or two. If I had to choose the product that saved my skin, ding ding she gets the reward. It takes off makeup, cleanses your skin without it feeling stripped away, it leaves such a glow afterwards. I'm obsessed with this cleanser. It's also suitable for me in the summer and winter!

🤍 Cerave Hydrating cream-foam Cleanser

This one is a classic in the skincare community, because it does what it needs to do! I used this cleanser for 2 years until buying the Holika one. Cerave is the best big store brand for me. It never caused any damage to my skin, it's dermalogically tested and all their products are fragrance free. Simple, inexpensive and good. A good starter cleanser in my opinion.

🤍 Skin 79's Calming Aloe Vera Gel

You can see a pattern, aloe vera is the ingrediant for me! This gel has been a staple in my routine for atleast 3 years. It's an amazing layering moisturizer in the winter and daily moisturizer in the summer. It's fresh and light on the skin. Helps with dark spots and makes skin appear so bouncy!

🤍 Cerave Daily Moisturising Cream

Also another classic one, but I haven't found my perfect morning cream to date. This one is also fast and simple. It's lightweight, has hyaluronic acid and is really easy to use. It keeps the face nicely moisturized threw the day! This one is more of a summer moisturizer or if I'm staying in. The one labeled dry to extra dry I get in the winter!

2. Nighttime Holy Grails

🤍 CORSX Snail 96 Mucin

It's a little bit on the pricer side so I only use it before sleeping! It's amazing for repairing a damaged skin barrier and just the glow you get afterwords! Also amazing for recovery days.

🤍 The Effaclar Duo(+) from La Roche Posay

This is the star of the show! If I had to pick a favorite cream it goes to this one! This cream absolutely changed how I looked in a matter of 2 weeks. It exfoliates dead skin cells, reduces the look of dark spots and is very gentle! Highly recommend this even though it's also on the pricer side, but it's worth it.

🤍 La Roche Posay Lipikar Baume

Another La Roche product, because they are so good in my eyes. This moisturizer was introduced by my brother who has eczema and dermatitis. I used it on my cheeks one time and feel in love. It is a winter cream since it's very inriched. It's not heavy on the face and I use it if I've been out the whole day and the wind ate up my skin. It does wonders for my hands and knuckles since they are prone to being extra dry aswell. It's also good for recovery days!

3. Exfoliation Holy Grails

🤍 Cerave SA Soothing Cleanser

This cleanser is really rough on skin if I use it everyday, but every 4th day it does the job! I can tell it helps clear out my whiteheads and blackheads. I use it on my T zone area every 4 days and on my cheeks every 8th day, since they are so sensitive. Once I learned how to properly use this cleanser my skin has been doing amazing.

🤍 Aztec Clay Mask

A very popular product and I get why! This clay mask is better for me in the summer since it is so intense. I mix it with water and leave it on 5-7 minutes.

🤍 Inninisfree Pore Cleaning Clay Mask

I found out about this clay mask last summer and I can't describe how much I adore it. It's a more gentle clay mask where you don't feel any pulling sensation. I use this one in the winter more since it is so gentle. Highly recommend this aswell!

4. Recovery Day Holy Grails

🤍 La Roche Posay Lipikar cleanser

This cleanser is very rich and soft, I stay away from it on a daily basis because it's too heavy for everyday use. This cleanser is for very iritated and dry skin. I use this after my exfoliation night to bring back some moisture to my skin. It's extremely soothing and good for people with dry, itching and sensitive skin.

🤍 La Rosay Posay Cicaplast Baume B5+

This is a skin savior! Also it's a little pricey, but since I don't use it very often it's worth the price. This cream is amazing in recovery, to repair the skin barrier and for any anomalies. For example for the past week I've been down with the flu, after wiping your nose 1001 times the nose area can become quite inflamed, red and iritated. After using this two days in a row you can't even tell I had a runny nose, it's that amazing.

- just to be clear I have combination skin that is very dry mostly so a lot of these products are not for acne prone skin. The only products I would recommend to oily and acne prone people are the aloe vera, snail mucin and the effalcar duo!

🤍Hope you enjoyed and if ypu have any questions, I'll anwser them all in the comments!

Xoxo Numa

The women who get treated the way you want to be treated have already created the life they wanted for themselves. How men treat them is a reflection of what they see in that woman. Don’t expect others to give you things you are not giving yourself. Carry yourself how you expect to be treated.
