Because of the new remix Butter MV and seeing Jimin once again falling off a chair 😂💀 I would love to know your rating list for all the times Jimin has kissed the floor thanks to his instability on a chair!

it will never not be funny to me that one of the most graceful humans on the planet -- a man i have watched execute the most difficult kinds of modern dance choreography with his eyes closed -- cannot manage to stay upright in a chair.

but look -- god had to give this man some kind of struggle right?

jimin was gifted with perfect good looks and perfect grades and massive popularity before he became one of the 7 most famous pop stars on the planet.

so he's just gonna have to suck this one up and put the W in gravity's column.

let’s begin:

this is what you get for being the fidgety kid in class. not even a last-minute assist from taehyung (?) was gonna save jimin from tipping this chair over. almost took that glass of water down with him but managed to keep this fall dry. may not have hit the floor entirely on the way down but looked good while doing it. hair appears super soft.

what really sends me about this one is the way not a single person around him looks surprised. jimin upped the difficulty here in two important ways. first, he was sitting on a stool without any kind of backing, which for a man with his particular weakness seems like a pretty risky move. second, he brought a prop into the equation with the addition of this laptop which A) remained open B) did not break during the execution. excellent work.

it's hard to blame a man who's used to sitting on a throne for being confused by a simple folding chair. park jimin scratched that pretty head and did it for this episode of run anyway. but alas, peasant furniture is not meant to contain his kind of greatness so down he went. he upped the difficulty here by bringing jungkook down with him in the process, which will certainly impact his score.

now here we have some of mr. park's best work. here jimin has elevated the simple act of falling into an art form, graceful movements reminiscent of ballet or martial arts. legs go high in the air, mic stays in hand, the entire body is committed to the motion. the true intersection of elegance and training. very high marks.

i know anti asian discrimination is on the rise and it’s been in the back of my mind ever since my dad warned me about going out on my own bc he knew some friends of his had got beaten up and so i try to be careful.

but now these shootings in atlanta make it so very real and in my face. i live pretty close there and it’s like my aunt who’s a nail tech goes there pretty often for supplies. idk i just need everyone to be aware of how bad this is getting.

lately i just see ppl completely brushing aside anti asian racism. you have no idea how many comments i’ve seen saying that asian ppl are basically white... it’s laughable bc we have never been treated as such. especially for me being a tan SE asian. it’s like ppl forget about SE and south asians who are very much being targeted as well. i don’t even know where i’m going w this! it’s just frustrating. idk do what you can maybe donate or smth especially since you guys heavily consume asian media like show up for us too not just for our culture

It's been very overshadowed by the other events, but both seats in Georgia went blue. pairing: namjoon x reader genre: angst / idol au wc: 3,1k+ summary: where namjoon ponders the worth of being an idol.  warning: mentions of possible depression. also mentions some scenes on their recent movie regarding jungkook’s injury and them being/feeling overworked in general. a/n: based off of namjoon’s recent post on weverse.

Namjoon reads the prose repeatedly, making sure that there are no words amiss or there wasn’t anything that the fans could potentially spin to be incriminating against the company. Just don’t get us in trouble, Namjoon, is what they had said, but he feels it is more than that—they won’t just brush it off if he does make a mistake. He knows his musings aren’t new to the fans, so he hopes this one can just fly under the radar, too, undetected.

“Again, post something that will show your…more humane side,” one of the coordinating staff responsible for their social media had said. “Just don’t get us in trouble, Namjoon.”

The conversation plays over and over in his head as his palms begin to sweat profusely. What does it even mean—to be more humane? Namjoon questions the authenticity of the words he had written himself, doubting whether or not it was good enough to be considered “humane”. He finds himself questioning if anything is ever good enough these days, whether it was for him or for the company.

One sentence stands out at him: “I think I understand how an actor feels when they’re in a drama.”

He’d read a book recently, titled, “Presentation of Self in Everyday Life” and that’s where he got the actor statement from. The author suggests that human beings were like actors, whose actions change depending on who they interact with in their everyday lives.

Namjoon feels that way. As RM, as the leader of his company’s group, there are certain things he must and must not do, things that he can say openly, and things that he cannot. He knows he has a clear grasp on his mind of what he wants to convey when he’s performing RM, and a simple rehearsal always makes sure of that.

But as Namjoon? He isn’t so sure.
