Risotto is cautious at first, but reluctantly agrees when you offer to pay him. With money tight, he’d been looking for some odd jobs to do that wouldn’t cause too much attention to be drawn to him. Similar to an elephant with mice, he’s far more scared of you than you are of him. While your gaze on him wasn’t abrasive or intrusive, he couldn’t help but feel naked. If he were actually naked, it wouldn’t even compare to the thought that you were dissecting every little part of him with appreciation for how he was constructed. Risotto prides himself on how carefully crafted his emotional walls were, but the way your gaze followed each curve and sharpened edge of his body seemed to slip through the cracks. His heart quickened. Nobody had ever looked at him like this before. And he wasn’t exactly opposed to it.

Melone likes it when people ogle him as much as he ogles others. But there was something different about the way you looked at him that made him feel delicate, vulnerable. And he loved it. It made color rise to his cheeks as your eyes flickered back and forth between him and the paper. The feeling in his chest and fingers buzzed and tingled as he stared at you with what he hoped were bedroom eyes. His many attempts at conversation were met with quiet mumbles and not much else. What an odd duckling you were! Without moving from the pose you had carefully crafted for him, he filled the silence with one sided small talk. It occurred to him that he could say just about anything, but it wouldn’t elicit any sort of reaction. And, much to his delight, you had verbally agreed (more like a soft “mh hm’) to spend a few days snuggled up in his apartment. For science, or course.

Prosciutto is somewhat used to it. When he was younger he had a short modeling career that ended with a cocaine addiction and a debt to the mafia. But there was something in your eyes as you sketched him that he never saw in the many photographers that prodded and adjusted him. It wasn’t just the appreciation of his beauty, but appreciation of him as a whole. Your hands were gentle as you moved his shoulder, almost ghostlike in your movements. Phantoms that left the hair on the back of his neck stand up, yet wish for more. He tried to hold your gaze as he smoked the cigarette, but was upset to find that your eyes kept flitting between the page and himself. For a moment he flirted with the idea of moving so you’d have to adjust him, but ultimately decided it wasn’t worth it. Such a sweet little thing you were, bringing your bottom lip into your mouth in heavy concentration. He kept his eyes on you, watching Grateful Dead in his peripheral as it lumbered to the apartment door, timing the turning of the lock with a well placed cough. Hopefully this assignment wasn’t due anytime soon.

Pesci initially thought you were making fun of him, but the lack of emotion on your face made it evident you were serious. He couldn’t stop the heat in his cheeks, nor the slight fidgets he made to try and soothe himself in this new situation. Your eyes were like his big bro’s, yet different in the best way. Prosciutto had scrutinizing eyes that seemed to view everything under a microscope, even the tiniest hair out of place or piece of lint on clothes. But your eyes were much more tender in their scrutiny. They seemed to not want to fix anything, but simply view him as he was. It made his chest squeeze and his body grow fuzzy with giddiness.

spending your days off with melone was something you always enjoyed. a pastime he and you were fond of included him taking you around shopping centers, and buying to your heart’s content. though there was one part he enjoyed the most, and that was the fashion shows you gave him late at night after a whole day filled with fun.

he sat on his bed as you exited the bathroom, wearing clothes which still had their tags on.he eyed you up and down, a smirk plastered on his face. “do a 360 please” he demanded.

“melone, you’re ogling again” you exclaimed, twirling. “the outfit suits you, i wonder who chose it” he teased, taking your hand and intertwining your fingers with his. taking a glance at him, you noticed he was more excited than usual.

“what’s the occasion, mel? you seem to be enjoying yourself.”

“i’m always enjoying myself when i’m around you, vita mia. besides, have you not checked what day it is?”

confused, you looked at the time on your watch. it read ‘12:00am, feb. 14’. you felt your eyes widen as his eyes met yours. “don’t tell me you forgot it’s valentine’s day, y/n” he teased, pulling you close to him and sitting you on his lap. pointing down at your outfit, he smiled. “consider that a part of my gift, from me to you.”

“part? melone, what are you—”

his hand cupped your cheek as he brought you closer, his face was inches away from yours. “i really like you, and i know you like me” he confessed, you felt your cheeks grow hot. “be mine, y/n.”

you nodded as you closed the gap between the two of you, pulling melone into a kiss. he immediately melted into it, he placed his hand on your waist as the other remained holding your cheek. your ran your hand through his lavender hair, he deepened the kiss by sliding his tongue inside your mouth.

you pulled away, smirking at him. “baby steps, melone, baby steps” you warned him. he laughed in response, wrapping his arms around you.

“do you know how long i’ve waited to do this?”
